And I have been through that exact thing with several male doctors throughout my life, and it’s never fun or cool.
I have been battling with my current doctor over a prostate exam for sometime now. I’m all Hell no, Doc, uh uh, no. Probably will regret it, but uh, no. Not doin’ it.
But what really angers me about this is that when I was 7 years old, exposed a child molester. Me, and only me. No one else spoke up, and there were many who could have and should have.
I didn’t care if anyone would believe me, I simply spoke up, because I knew it was wrong. Course I told my mom, and she spoke up, then no one believed her...
But anyway, I can only assume that I, as a 7 year old child, was braver than a bunch of college wrestlers, one of whom became an MMA fighter.
PFFT, cowards.
I’m a physician. I’ve done many sports physicals. In most cases physicians do not do a very thorough sports physical.
I am sure some don’t even check the athlete for a hernia or testicular masses or even a prolapsed rectum.
I’ve had a number of young boys come to me with issues involving their private area that they were ashamed to bring up to their parents, where doctors too never asked.
In summary, I would NOT look to far into this. Just because a doctor spent a few extra seconds being thorough doesn’t mean he’s molesting the patient. Maybe he’s just being a good doctor and doesn’t want to miss a testicular cancer, or hydrocele from trauma.
And maybe even if the doctor was gay. These raslers are saying that everyone knew the doctor was gay, and that he was getting his jollys examining them...NOT ONE OF THESE GUYS WENT TO ANY AUTHORITIES ABOUT IT?

It’s pretty lame to accuse a doctor after he’s dead. Funny too, that none of his private patients have come forward with these claims?
Saying that the "cough doctor" was grabbing people's nuts, was the running joke in my HS when we had sports physicals.

An anonymous source claims Jordan knew about abuse of WRESTLERS — large, mean wrestlers — by a now-dead doctor, and nobody said anything about it until Jordan started running for Speaker as the anti-swamp candidate.

I heard from a very reliable source that he caught Dick Durbin sneaking peeks at pee pees and wee wees in the men’s room at Reagan National Airport. According to my source, who wishes to remain anonymous because of concerns for his family, Durbin spent more time than normal at the urinal and as men stood next to him, he appeared to gaze for several seconds at their private parts. According to my source, several guys appeared uncomfortable. My anonymous source claims he reported the incident to Durban’s chief of staff, who joked that “Durban may be a Dick, but he’s no Wiener.”
So, this happened decades ago. Jordan was a 23 year old assistant coach. This doc, from what I heard, handled the genitals of the wrestlers a little too long when giving physicals. The degree of Jordan’s “awareness” came when the group was talking about what a creep the doc was; that he seemed to linger a little longer than necessary during the physical.
That’s it.
So, based on a comment or two—where everyone was joking about it—was supposed to make a 23 year old, assistant coach for a nationally ranked program to take on an ICO Doctor who had been around wrestling for years.
Was the Doc a diddler? I dont know. He’s dead.
Did Jordan know the guy was a little “off?” Who knows.
What I do know is that if this was an “issue” it would have come up any one of a dozen times in the past few years.
This is just another stupid example of holding the actions of a 23 year old kid—30 years ago—to the standards that apply today. Next we will hear how his great, great, great grandparents owned slaves. ( I am kidding. I don’t know if they owned slaves.)
I recall being approached by an executive who had undergone an annual physical from one the older doctors at our clinic. He asked me to talk to the doctor about his “make up” as he thought it was weird. Of course, I said nothing to man. He wore a little self tanning cream.
I guess my point it, what was Jordan supposed to do? I’m sure they all laughed and joked about the doctor being kinda “weird” but did anyone ask Jordan to do something about it? I doubt it. Doesn’t sound at all that anyone at the time considered the examinations by the doctor as molesting.
Jordan or anyone else would have looked pretty darn foolish to tell a doctor how he should examine a patient.
Jordan:”Hey, Doc, I know you’re board cerified and all, and you’ve been practicing medicine for over 30 years, but the boys were wondering if you would stop examining their private parts so thoroughly.”
Doctor:”So, you don’t want me to touch them?”
Jordan:”Might better if you don’t.”
Doctor:”How about if I don’t have them take their clothes off when I examine them?”
Jordan:”It might be the smartest thing to do.”
Doctor:”So, what if I miss a heart murmer or a testicular lump or a hernia?”
Jordam:”Well better than to be accused of being a pervert.”
Is checking a rasler’s prostate an example of being molested?
This is total crap, and someone should just STFU about it. I’m surprised that Ryan and others don’t come forward and squelch the whole thing.

The abuse was that the Doc examined the penis for infection/malformation and examined the testicles and groin for signs of lumps and hernia.
EVERY boy from about 7th grade on up has been “felt up” at every examination. EVERY boy from about 7th grade up has joked that the Doc seemed like he enjoyed it.
It doesn’t mean the kids were abused. It doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t mean the kids enjoyed this.
Anyone saying THAT has never known any kid abused by an authority figure. Suggesting that kids would enjoy abuse is just stupid.
