Emmanuel Lopes is the murderer and haven't been able to find any further info on him. Illegal alien?

Additional responding officers chased Lopes through the neighborhood, where he allegedly discharged Chesna’s gun again, killing an elderly woman in her home. Her name has not been released pending next of kin notification.
Police reportedly shot Lopes in the leg. He is expected to survive and will be arraigned Monday on two counts of murder. It’s unclear if he will be arraigned in the hospital or in a courtroom. It’s also unclear if he has an attorney.

The name termination of ez being changed to es often indicates cultural adaptation. Murder comes first from the heart; not the skin or language. Borrowed platitudes. Many freepers would have immigrated had they been born in a third world ghetto and had half a chance to get out. Thank God for the USA!

The first name has been spelled differently depending upon the media outlet. I’ve seen no info on whether the perp’s a citizen. But I’ll bet he’s got a record.
And I would like to know how a thug like that was able to get the drop on an experienced officer and vet. Are officers becoming too adverse to protecting themselves and the public? An elderly lady died, too, from a stray bullet fired by the perp.

Massachusetts is a very Liberal State.As a retired Police Officer I was always afraid of losing my weapon in a scuffle therfore I advise all officers to be careful and the hell with wrestling matches. If a criminal is willing to fight you he is willing to kill you.
