The day after the mid terms, RBG announces her retirement, effective immediately.

The only possible way that either Ginsburg or Breyer will leave while Trump is President is feet first.

I agree that is the most likely possibility, but it would be fun to see the left turn against RBG or Breyer if either one stepped down of their own accord.

I saw her interviewed not long ago and was shocked at how crippled up she looks. I thought she was a corpse.

I also saw her interviewed recently and she is a physical wreck. She can't sit straight and can barely lift her head (actually she apparently can't lift it except to speak, then it drops again). However she was coherent in her answers, abeit in a croaky and wavering voice.

I feel like she still has her harcore left wing faculties intact but her body is shutting down on her. As with all of us, it's just a matter of time. For her, there don't seem to be many more grains of sand left in her hour glass.

She is selfish. She could have retired during Obama’s administration and he could have replaced her with another leftist judge, but I guess she felt she had to hang on for her own legacy. I’m glad she didn’t retire but now it appears that in the not too distant future that will be a choice she won’t be able to make. God will make it for her.

We noticed that she was wearing gloves during the swearing in ceremony at the White House. Wonder what that was about.

My hunch is that her forearms and hands are bruised from IV needles.

At this point, the court is solidly conservative. IF Thomas recovers, they’ll put in someone his equal.

So, really makes no sense to have this poor lady suffer. Let her retire. Her vote doesn’t matter anymore. IT really doesn’t and in fact you might get the rest of them to vote with some maturity now.
