We are in “High Color Autumn” right now in SE MA. Really beautiful...when it’s not raining.
It seems to me, that we went straight to brown this year. We’ve had loads of leaves, but not the fall color we usually get.
Very concerned about our butternut tree. Usually our best producer for nuts. This year=zero, and it lost all the leaves before the other trees had hardly begun.
3-8” of white tonight. Started mid afternoon, and currently have 3-4” in our driveway, and still falling.
Even the indoor potted amaryllis has started to toss it in for the season.
