"We just don't have the courage to use the means and methods at our disposal to stop this."

No, there isn't. CBP is ordering officers from non-Mexican border ports to the Southern Border and has been for years because staffing is so thin. Officers work six days a week, 12 to 18 hour shifts. They're not staffed to handle the normal border crossing traffic.

Understood, but I wasn't just referring to that Border Patrol. I was referring to the combined forces at our country's disposal. We don't have the courage to deploy the assets we have, that could stop this.

It's really a lot more involved than it appears on the surface. Legal authority, familiarity with laws and regulation, familiarity with the ports and terrain between ports, etc.

Unless you've undergone that training, a person's usefulness is limited.

I suppose you could have MPs assist in guarding detainees, engineers building detainment facilities, but that's pretty much all I can think of and the Posse Comitatus act can foul that all up in ways to horrible to imagine. You know some liberal judge will decide the involvement of the military illegal and order release of all the illegals.
