American children of diverse races and backgrounds, who haven't been indoctrinated and inculcated with loathing and hatred for America, display their patriotism as the train carrying the body of Bush 41 rolls past on the funeral route:

Sorry. These kids really have no idea why they are doing this. If these were teenagers, I would be impressed.
At least their teacher had them out there saying goodbye to 41. So kudos for that at least.

Reminds me of the uproar by liberals from live TV coverage of President Reagens’s body being driven from Point Mugu to the gravesite in Simi Valley. The route was literally lined with people.
The sight of people stopping on the other side of a major freeway (blocking it) and standing in the middle of the divider to watch the hearse pass was enough to choke you up.
The same sight drove liberals insane with rage.
I see one, maybe 2 white kids. The future of America? Wbo will be paying taxes to support them?

As a Houstonian and Conservative I saw the photo in a newspaper and only though some teacher took her class to see the 4141 train and witness history. I did not see color or race, but now that I look closer at the photo you are correct.
Maybe they’re saying thank you to W for helping their grandparents get across the border
I will never forget standing on the side of the road just south of the Target at Las Posas. The word came from Nancy Reagan to let us get closer, so we all moved to near the center of the road very close to the procession.
Be glad the teacher was smart and let the kids see “history” instead of just read it in slanted textbooks and papers.

You think these kids did this on their own?
They look like kindergarten or daycare kids. Their teachers told them this was “history” and they were going to be part of it. That’s OK. I recall having our teacher do something similar when Ike died.
Don’t mistake my comment for thinking this was “bad.” It’s not.
My point is these kids are like herded animals. They do what they are told.
