Reminds me of the uproar by liberals from live TV coverage of President Reagens’s body being driven from Point Mugu to the gravesite in Simi Valley. The route was literally lined with people.
The sight of people stopping on the other side of a major freeway (blocking it) and standing in the middle of the divider to watch the hearse pass was enough to choke you up.
The same sight drove liberals insane with rage.

As a Houstonian and Conservative I saw the photo in a newspaper and only though some teacher took her class to see the 4141 train and witness history. I did not see color or race, but now that I look closer at the photo you are correct.

They look like kindergarten or daycare kids. Their teachers told them this was “history” and they were going to be part of it. That’s OK. I recall having our teacher do something similar when Ike died.
Don’t mistake my comment for thinking this was “bad.” It’s not.
