I think a lot of what you are saying is based upon current societal creations. Men having egos allowing them to be targets, women being targets, children being targets, are no different than people being accosted with the violent crimes in our surroundings.

Ah, but with men there is a difference. The difference is that men choose to be victims, or to be more accurate, they choose for other men to be victims when the culprit is female and they think they can get something out of it. A man who is facing violence from a woman doesn't just have to deal with that woman. He has to deal with a bunch of "heroes" who are looking to score.

As I pointed out, if women's issues are getting more attention, it's because women are investing more into the fight for their rights. A lot more. Say what you want about the feminists, when it comes to gender equality they are still ahead of anything anything men have managed to organize.
