NBC installed the lock door buzzer in his desk. Then claim they knew nothing!

I’m sure there were a number of complaints swept under the rug over the years.

Has anyone come back yet from #METOO? Think it’s a career killer for him regardless of the book deal.

The insider claims that Lauer has dirt on Kelly and hopes it will destroy her career.

I think she's got that handled without Matt's help.

Their ego’s won’t allow them to just go away and go fishing or build birdhouses. They are not relevant anymore and can’t stand it.

I’d be curious to see what was in his contract with NBC and what he was able to afford with the money he was making: on call driver, someone to pick up his dry cleaning, house cleaner, personal shopper to stock his fridge, etc etc. Basically all he had to do was wake up in the morning, walk into a dressing and make up room and make crazy money being a moron.

Now, he has to drive himself everywhere, pick up his own dry cleaning, maybe cook his own dinner once in a while and be at least a little like a normal person. Now he’s just a guy in line at the grocery store. All 5 foot nothing of him. Wonder what he does when he’s on line at a grocery store and 2 big, iron workers, with Old Glory stickers on their hard hats, are in front of him, Two Deplorables?

I would be surprised if a comeback is envisioned by Lauer. This book seems a poor attempt to make that happen. Rather, I think he’s a rich guy who knows his career is over and now he’s just focused on getting back at people in the industry. I think this is pure revenge. Which is fine with me.

If he has a story about rear-ending Anderson Cooper in the Green Room, maybe I’ll read the excerpt.

“He’s going to give a blow-by-blow of his dramatic dismissal”

Sounds X-rated.

I would say her career is already destroyed.

He’s just repeating the trail-blazing playbook written by one William Jefferson Clinton in the 90’s.

He’s planning a TV comeback by doing a backstabbing tell-all?

That should work out well...

There are two reasons for him to do this. The first is reputation management so that he may be able to get a job somewhere else down the line. The second is to hopefully sell books and earn an income because he doesn’t have another job.

"The insider claims that Lauer has dirt on Kelly and hopes it will destroy her career."

If the intent is to destroy her career, don't bother writing it down on paper. She's never going to be on TV again and rues the day she left Fox. She had a good thing going and screwed it all up.

There's no doubt he can bring a lot of people down at NBC. No one has adequately explained why the heck he had that lock door buzzer in his office. I don't see how they can explain other than to use it for what he used it for. Somehow I don't see Matt installing it all by himself. When I first heard about that last year, it reminded me of a Rock Hudson/Angie Dickenson movie called 'Pretty Maids All in a Row'. He was a highschool guidance counselor who was boffing all of the girls in the school. When he would bring them into his office, he had a sign outside his office that lit up saying 'In Counseling' or something like that.

However, can you imagine the dirt he must have on people like Savannah and Hoda? I mean does anyone really believe these two didn't know what was going on? And there will be others, who knows what heads will roll with his book coming out.

CBS has their share as well of deviants. Don Hewitt was one and he produced 60 Minutes.
You can bet that the 60 Minutes holier then thou “investigative journalists” knew all about him but covered up for him as CBS did by paying his victims $20 million. One women got $5 million plus other money every year for life.
