I have heard the theory that Egyptians may have been negro before being pushed out by the Arabs under the Muslims invasions?
There are DNA indications that modern Egyptians have more sub-Saharan (black) ancestry than ancient Egyptians did. Ancient Egyptians seem to have originally been from farther north and east.
Ancient Egyptians were Caucasoids, and after Alexander conquered that nation, one of his generals was left there to rule and he was the progenitor of a long line of Ptolemaic Pharaohs.
For a VERY short time, Egypt was conquered and ruled by blacks from Nubia.
Though Ancient Egyptian art was highly stylized and people painted in many different colors, those colors represented other things than race!
You want to see what an Ancient Egyptian looked like in a realist representation? Look up Nefertiti .
Ancient Egypt (and modern Egypt) was in Africa, and there are lots of nomadic peoples there, and in the Sinai, and the Middle East. Up to 40 percent of ancient Egypt were black African, but the percentage varied wildly, and the peak was during this very time (the Trojan War has been misdated, even when it was/is considered fictional it has been misdated), I'll excerpt something in the next post. But the entertainment industry doesn't make documentaries, and this casting was done for anachronistic political reasons. Thanks all.
