McDonald's is giving out free bacon for one hour 1/29/19

For one hour, McDonald's is giving customers free bacon with anything on the menu at no additional cost.

According to a release, Bacon Hour will be from Jan. 29, from 4 to 5 p.m. at participating restaurants nationwide. McDonald's is celebrating bacon's addition to the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder and fries. During Bacon Hour, customers will be given two half pieces of bacon on the side with any purchase and bacon can be added to any item.

The barely-observant Jews I went to college with in Chicago loved shrimp, Chinese food and meat/cheese burritos from El Lugar. The way they dealt with it was by consuming all they wanted, whenever they wanted it, but feeling bad about it. Bagels and lox on weekend mornings, though.

You can get the bacon, eggs, sausage and bacon. It doesn't have much bacon. Then get extra bacon with it.
