Several months into the Trump administration, I started running a daily "Border Wall Construction Update" on Twitter, announcing how many miles of the wall had been completed that day and how many miles since the inauguration. It was always the same numbers: 0 and 0, respectively.
I was immediately attacked by people in the Trump base. You're being unfair, he hasn't had enough time, there's a legislative process, he's doing the best he can.
As days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months and months turned to years, and not 1 inch of the wall was built, the "3-D chess" crowd dwindled.
Yeah, just keep taking instruction from the voices in your head.

When we had control of both houses of congress and the presidency for two years we could have rammed the wall funding through as the RATs did with Obamacare. Whoever can be identified as responsible for that NOT happening needs to be punished.
We are slowly working our way toward a “compromise” that will be several billion dollars for a “21 century” wall or border defense that will consist of sensors, drones, video surveillance, etc. that the Dems want which will detect, but not stop the invaders who will continue into the US by the many thousands to be processed and released.

The country is almost lost demographically now. The 50% left wing division in the country is driven numbers wise almost all by non white voters. A few more years at the current rate and the days of the USA as we have known them are over. Lower birth rates of whites, high minority birth rates, high immigration by non whites and anchor baby citizens all will be death knell. It’s happening in every state and many communities.

You are looking for quick easy short term “victories”, how does that move us forward? They don’t.
Let Nancy act like a child, this good for us in the long run. Trust me, it takes time for public opinion to change. We lost 2018 because of children in cages, yes, that is right, children in cages. Something that never happened under President Trump, but happened under Obama that the media pinned on Trump. The media is slowly falling apart, did you see Buzzfeed layoffs? Verizon Media Layoffs? Fake news isn’t selling like it use to. This will turn into a victory for us.
No, you are not realist, you believe in some sort of magic wand and tomorrow a wall will be built like in some sort of computer game.
I realize there is a process, a long drawn out process to get things done in DC, President Trump is a president, not a king. That is being realistic. I have realistic expectations. Saying hold and let this play out is not being cheerleader, it is actually the definition of being realistic. President Trump is doing what we all wanted him to do. Let it play out.
Federal workers are a majority democrats, let them squirm a few more months, its fine with me. Soon they will demand that Dems just give Trump his 5.7 billion and get it over with. In fact some of the cracks are starting to form on that side. They are not all “unified” as we thought they were. That will work to our advantage.
Did you see the one Demcoratic law maker saying that they should give Trump the money to build the wall in the areas they were going to do anyways, why not? That is a big crack, now if he can get others to join as well, we might be looking at something that we want in a few weeks.
