Terrence Howard has spoken out in defense of Jussie Smollett following his arrest for allegedly staging a hate crime.
The Empire actor who plays patriarch Lucious Lyon posted a video to Instagram Sunday of Smollett playing with a child who appears to be Howards son; Smollett portrays Lucious Lyons son on the Fox series.
All your lil homies got you. We love the hell outta you, Howard wrote with a heart emoji. Howards Empire co-star Gabourey Sidibe also commented on the post with three heart emojis.
However, Howard received backlash from former Scandal actor Columbus Short who asked that he condemn the allegedly fake attack, USA Today reported.
Whatever game was played is u acceptable, Short commented. And yes I am speaking on your page loudly and clearly. I look up to you Terence. You have to take a leadership position. And denounce this (expletive). Otherwise you as dumb as he is. Period!
Howard wrote an impassioned reply to another commenter saying, Sorry you feel that way but thats the only Jussie I know. The Jussie I know could never even conceive of something so unconscious and ugly.

they are trying to ride a dead horse.
America has two sides opposing each other permanently. There will never be a reconciliation. The North and South unifying after the Civil War will never be the modern left vs right.
If two white guys had been anywhere near the scene that's exactly what would have happened to them.
They get incredible recognition, tens or hundreds of people watching them on some show, and they start to think "I have a huge audience, a gigantic number of people who pay attention to me, why don't I try to change the world with my fame, instead of just playing a pretend part on a TV show."
But they right away run into a big problem: how are they going to change the world? What are they going to say to their enormous audience that will start them down the path of world-changing?
They have no idea. They're actors, not philosophers, or historians, or scientists. They don't know what the hell to say if it's not written down on a cue card.
So then they say to themselves, "where can I get some cue cards that have words on them that will help me change the world?"
And The Left is right there, with pre-printed cue cards that say all kinds of wonderful, virtue-signally things. "Here ya go, read this."
“Yeah framing two white dudes in a bogus attack so they can spend the rest of their life in prison . . .”
Yep, the media would have a slobbering “hate whitey” fest for months.
Did you put it in quotes ( width=”500”) ?
Next time, try using percentage instead of pixel width. I.E. (width=’50%’) instead of (width=’500’)
I use single quotes. You can use single or double as long as you are consistent.
He was in the original Iron Man movie and was pretty good. For some reason in the sequels he was dropped in favor of Don Cheadle, who is okay, although I have gotten to the point I can’t stand him either.
Of course they published this tripe.
Guess he’s ok with his buddy having some pretty bad mental health issues too. Jussie needs help.
The buzz is Smollett was x'ed out of the series ....not b/c of the faked attack.....but b/c his presence on the set caused chaos among the actors.
Look’s like Howard has never meet the real Jussie, he needs to take off the blinder’s and get real. The guy is just a real POS, no doubt about it.

I thought he was a drag in Ironman. Though fortunately, he didn’t do any real damage as the film worked well overall.
