  • Viewers Slam NBC NYE Coverage – No ‘Ball Drop’ – But‘Vaginal Steaming’ Discussion (VIDEO)

Viewers slammed NBC’s New Years Eve coverage as a train-wreck and embarrassment for America. NBC’s New Years Eve show didn’t have a countdown clock nor did they show the ball drop — a tradition many Americans enjoy watching. Rather, Chrissy Teigen, who was one of the three hosts for NBC’s NYE coverage discussed ‘vaginal steaming,’ — and NBC even showed a picture of it! GROSS! Viewers were disgusted and disappointed — especially because children were watching. Chrissy Teigen’s co-host Leslie Jones then hit her in the eye with her umbrella at midnight. What a train-wreck!

To cleanse the palate, a watershed moment in celebrity public service announcements. This is simultaneously the most trivial, and most useful, PSA to come out of Hollywood in decades. And it’s not annoying! Until today I couldn’t have imagined what it’d be like to watch an A-list actor speak didactically about a Matter of Concern and not come away highly irritated. “When’s he going to get to the part about climate change or impeaching Trump?” I kept thinking. Tom Cruise PSA

Is former President Barack Obama about to unleash one long subtweet against his successor in the form of a Netflix show? Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama have acquired the rights to adapt Michael Lewis' book The Fifth Risk as part of their overall deal with Netflix, Deadline reported Wednesday. Lewis' book describes the disorder within the Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, and Department of Commerce that took place during the transition between the Obama administration to the Trump administration.

The day after an anti-Semite killed 11 people at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a week of political violence, NBC’s Sunday Today exploited the opportunity by trying to tie it all to President Trump. On top of that, the network suggested that the only hope to stop the violence was to send Trump a message at the ballot box by voting against him and the GOP.

More Americans tuned into programming meant for children and young adults than CNN last week, according to numbers provided to The Daily Caller News Foundation by Fox News. CNN failed to crack the top five most popular channels from Oct. 15 to 21 and fell behind Fox News, ESPN, TBS, MSNBC and Nickelodeon.

Joe Scarborough thought he was being so cute. No fewer than six times during his little spiel on today's Morning Joe, while reading from the US government's WWII psychological profile of Adolf Hitler, Scarborough stressed that he was not intending to refer to anyone else. Joe never uttered the President's name, but coming from this world-class Trump hater, there was no doubt what parallel he wanted viewers to draw. "This is referencing nobody." "Do not draw a parallel between what is said here and anybody, living or dead, past or present." "This doesn't relate to anybody whatsoever." "This only pertains...

In its annual survey on "Confidence in Institutions," Gallup found that only 20% of Americans had a "great deal/quite a lot" of confidence in television news and only 23% had such confidence in newspapers. . . . In an update, Gallup emphasized that strong confidence in higher education has declined, from 57% in 2015 to 48% in 2018, a drop of 9 percentage points. "No other institution has shown a larger drop in confidence over the past three years than higher education," reported Gallup.

In a social media post on Saturday, a writer for CBS's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" seemingly celebrated the damage done to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's reputation during his bruising and bitterly partisan confirmation battle. "Whatever happens, I'm just glad we ruined Brett Kavanaugh's life," the writer, Ariel Dumas, posted on Twitter. Dumas later briefly made her account private, preventing others from viewing her posts without her approval.

Saturday Night Live has lampooned Senate Republicans, imagining them chugging beer in the Senate 'locker room' after successfully confirming Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The new SNL episode on Saturday aired just hours after the Senate voted 50-48 nearly along party lines to confirm Kavanaugh, who was then sworn in to the Supreme Court. The cold opened imagined the party-hearty hi-jinks of ecstatic Republican senators, led by a beer-chugging Lindsey Graham, portrayed by Kate McKinnon. 'How amazing is this? We made a lot of women real worried today, but I'm not getting pregnant so I don't care,' said McKinnon's Graham,...

"NBC Nightly News" suffered its lowest-rated season ever, according to Nielsen Media Research, but still topped ABC and CBS in the key younger demographic that advertisers covet most. The Lester Holt-anchored program dropped to an average of 8.153 million total viewers per evening, which marks its lowest average since Nielsen began tracking via electronic data in 1991. That was still good enough for second place behind ABC's "World News Tonight" with David Muir, which delivered 8.637 million viewers for the 2017-2018 season. "The CBS Evening News" with Jeff Glor was third with 6.209 million total viewers. NBC did score 1.851...

Over 80 percent of prime-time network family comedy television shows have scenes in which adult characters use sexually explicit dialogue in front of children, a conservative media watchdog has warned. In a new report released Monday, the Parents Television Council has documented the widespread use of sexually charged language in television shows across multiple networks that the networks themselves are deeming to be family-friendly. "What we are seeing is the frog in the boiling water, where as the temperature goes up, the frog doesn't realize how hot it has gotten," Winter told The Christian Post in an interview. "We have...

The separation was due to Hill's desire to be involved in politics, while ESPN wants to be apolitical, the Post reported.

By now it has become predictable old news to hear that Fox News Channel defeated their cable news rivals CNN and MSNBC in the weekly ratings, as they have finished number one out of the big three in total average viewers per day for 31 consecutive weeks, according to Adweek. Nor is it a surprise to hear that Fox beat their rivals in prime time viewership either, as they have done so for 11 consecutive weeks now. What is somewhat surprising, and incredibly laughable, is that CNN — the formerly vaunted crown jewel of the establishment media — has sunk...
  • How the Kardashians became more powerful than the royals

Like it or not, the Kardashians have risen from reality-TV stars — famed for sex tapes, plastic surgery and shotgun weddings — to America’s royal family. Critics have discounted the clan as an unfortunate blip on our cultural radar. But the ladies have taken their 15 minutes of fame and created a dynasty that might just be the most powerful in the world. In May, Kim successfully lobbied President Trump to commute the prison sentence of a 63-year-old grandmother, Alice Marie Johnson, who had served more than 20 years on drug charges. Kylie, meanwhile, single-handedly tanked Snapchat’s stock in February...

Season one of AMC’s Dietland finally draws to a close, and what a journey it’s been. Starting from a feminist group murdering for the #MeToo movement, to playing the oppression Olympics, the show is truly the pinnacle of third-wave feminism. To prove that, we leave off on the personal targeting of pro-life members of Congress. The July 30 season finale “Bedwomb” has our lead Plum (Joy Nash) actually working inside the feminist murder group called "Jennifer" as they continue their goal of terrorizing the male population. After their mindless male-killing, ridiculous manifesto, and the open degradation of the president as...

Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale prides itself on painting a dark image for women in Trump’s America, even though the show has absolutely nothing in common with Trump’s actual America. Still, that doesn’t stop the series from bringing its #Resistance narrative to life in the most ridiculous ways. The next stop is taking the phrase “barefoot and pregnant” a little too seriously. The May 9 episode “Other Women” comes after June/Offred (Elizabeth Moss) is found and recaptured trying to escape Gilead. Being pregnant, she remains invaluable to the society despite how anti-women they clearly are. To really drive that point forward,...

Hillary Clinton is setting her sights on a new office: executive producer. The former secretary of state is teaming with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television to bring Elaine Weiss' critically acclaimed book The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote to the small screen. The drama will mark Clinton's debut as an exec producer. The book, published in March, follows the activists who led the decades-long fight to grant women the right to vote and sheds light on how close the battle to ratify the 19th Amendment really was. The book celebrates those who changed history and laid the...
