  • ABC MIGHT BRING ROSIE O'DONNELL BACK TO 'THE VIEW'

Variety's Ramin Setoodeh reports that "The View" is in so much trouble, "rumors are swirling" that Rosie O'Donnell might be brought back. After a ton of controversy, that included O'Donnell using the program to spread her 9/11 Trutherism with the absurd claim that fire can't melt steel, the left-wing comedian left the show in 2007 after just one season. Walters has since claimed that "Rosie imploded" and has "emotional problems." The road to bringing Rosie back is apparently clearer with Walters off the show and other rumors about the potential replacement of "View" executive producer Bill Geddie. Geddie reportedly clashed...

Michael Sam’s declaration in February that he wanted just to be known as a football player, and not a gay football player, started to unravel with the news that he was working with the Oprah Winfrey Network on a reality show on his "historic" journey. Who was causing the distraction now? Not the “haters.” Sources told ESPN.com that the network's plan was to follow Sam's personal life as he tried to make the Rams, dividing the content into six to eight segments. The Rams and the NFL said they were unaware of the project prior to its announcement. “After careful...

I just contacted Netflix to let them know that I do NOT want to see Gay / Lesbian films listed under the "Romance" category. I've been a Netflix subscriber since the early days, but this is my second dispute with them the last few months (the first was over the Sarah Palin bashing tweet from April, 2013). (VIDEO-AT-LINK)As expected, Girls creator/star Lena Dunham got nude on Saturday Night Live this weekend, in one scene mocking the Genesis Eden story, where a partly blurred-out nude Dunham and leaf-covered co-star Taran Killam poked fun at the biblical narrative. Saturday’s episode earned SNL’s second lowest ratings of the year. "Son of God. Noah," says the narrator. "And now, another extraordinary Biblical film that tells the astonishing story of the Garden of Eden and the Garden of Life itself." Dunham then appears naked. "Adam, Adam, a snake just talked to me. Is that normal?" Dunham says. "Before there were Girls," the...

For some, Animal Planet’s annual “Puppy Bowl” is more sacred than the Super Bowl. CNN summed it up in a nutshell: . . . the sublime result of pairing a bunch of wiggly puppies — 66, in fact — with squeaky toys and a mini-stadium set. Add a “rufferee” and a kitty-filled halftime, and every floppy tackle or slobbered-on football inspires an unintelligible burst of baby talk and giggles. That’s the power of puppies! Maybe it’s not for everyone, but those who love it want to keep politics out, and who can blame them? This year, Michelle Obama had to...
