I don't know exactly why but American Idol just isn't producing the singers they once did....they all sound the same and so I haven't really watched in quite awhile...

In fact....the judges have ceased to really judge as well...so not sure which side of the table is at fault.

I watch a lot of International Nation Talent contests and their standards to qualify are much higher therefore their contestants are far superior than here in the US.

Talk about zero chemistry. They all but ignore each other and sing to the audience.

Yeah, it’s a weak year for AI. To my mind, they’ve never matched the season that had Amanda Overmeyer, Carly, Chakeezi, and the guy from Australia.

When they dropped the age limit down, we got a flood of very young contestants at the expense of older singers that can entertain.
