He's had a few ticks over the winter, which is unusual, but with the good weather, he's getting three or four a day. I've been reading up on remedies to this problem ...
No. I dont worry about small amounts of any of those items. I even slip the dog a little tiny piece of chocolate on occasion.
Were not talking my about arsenic or strychnine here.
You just dont make feeding these items in large amounts or on a regular basis.
I never tried the liquid thing. But I am going to. How much did you say per gallon. 2 Teaspoons for both ticks and fleas?
This morning before I went to church I discovered little flies on the windows. . .we’ve hand a lot of rain. . .these are not the “land on garbage” type. I personally haven’t seen them before. I used the powder in the applicator that came with my last DE order. When I returned home from church, they weren’t in the windows or on the doors. I think we need to be ready for “last days pestilence” and if you look at the news today on FR “last days disease (as in incurable). Not a hypochondriac. . .I think I operate in the “common sense” category.
Good for ants. I live in the country and they just appear after a rainy few days.

Are they tiny little black things, sorta like Goth fruit flies?
We’ve had a plague of them for years.
They came over on imported stuff from China.
They love sinks and other damp places.
Fly strips catch them and you can also take an empty pop bottle, drill a small hole in the cap and put vinegar, water and sugar in the bottle.
Put the cap back on and they fly in and drown.
I found a treatment for mange that works wonders: mix borax, peroxide, and warm water and sponge on dog. Don’t rinse off. Mange disappears and hair starts growing back within three days. Use gloves when applying as borax is tough on the hands.
If it’s a big blue tick, like almost seven foot tall, with a sidekick named Arthur, don’t sweat it. That tick likes animals. And crustaceans.
