Fox Nation host and conservative commentator Tomi Lahren weighed in on Alabama's new law banning nearly all abortions in the state, calling the legislation "too restrictive."
Lahren wrote on Twitter Thursday that the near-total abortion ban forces women into more dangerous methods.
I will be attacked by fellow conservatives for saying this but so be it, this Alabama abortion ban is too restrictive, she wrote. It doesnt save life, it simply forces women into more dangerous methods, other states or countries.
"You dont encourage life via blanket government mandate! she added.
Lahren's comments came one day after Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signed a law banning abortion in almost all cases, including rape or incest

Thou shalt not kill. Saw last night on FOX (what’s with them this morning and the audience and 10 minute infomercials on hair growth?) a woman claim it’s about women’s health. Of course, she said nothing about the baby’s health.
Playing Devil’s advocate. What if they intentionally made it “too restrictive” knowing they’ll be sued and they’ll compromise with rapes.
Always.
I'm guessing the rape of a Mexican (or other "refugee") that produces a child is probably more welcome than not ... think, anchor baby. muzzies tend to kill what they rape.
That leaves the occasional drunk HS kid or college frat.
I agree with your assessment but I add my belief that the percentage of pregnancy producing rape is not that great.
ANY married person can attest to a whole SLEW of sexual problems because of stress or tension and I'm of the belief there is still a God that has His hand in our affairs.
Cant stand the wench since she went on the View and called conservatives hypocrites re: abortion.
If we didnt learn all we needed about her then, when will we?
Adoption.
Never even enters the conversation. Ever. Adoption.
What’s easier on your conscience? Getting pregnant and letting another family raise your baby or getting pregnant and killing your son or daughter simply because he or she was inconvenient?
A.dop.tion.
Adoption.
Every child, no matter how they were conceived; is innocent.
No. The law is predicated on a medical abortion, not the event of the baby’s death.
The question you ask is one of the scare tactics the left is using.
I agree with you....24 hours...this delaying the abortion till months later is SICK...and SHOULD be outlawed.
Baloney.
it simply forces women into more dangerous methods, other states or countries.
Murder SHOULD be dangerous to the (would-be) murderer.
>>>No. The law is predicated on a medical abortion
How would you know if the fetal death was caused by natural means and not chemical means?
For it to count as rape, I would want there to be a police report on file, soon after the sex.
For incest, I would want the perp named before, genetic test after, and arrest for perjury if it turns out not to be incest.
A medical abortion involves a doctor.
The penalties are on the doctor, as well, as I understand it.
The “prosecute the mother” idea is a liberal canard.
Well guess, what, Tomi, if you don’t live in Alabama it doesn’t affect you.
Shes never been anti abortion
Yes
She has been and is pro abortion
Quite the disingenuous head case.
