You have Hitler, Stalin and the Inventor of the Presta Valve in the same room but you only have 2 bullets, who do you shoot?

I have a smart trainer so it takes some of the sting out of winter. But it’s not the same as the open road.

If it’s been that long, you might spend a little fixing up the old ride - just to make sure you’ll like it again like you think you will.

Assuming you do, THEN start checking with any local MTB clubs for local used sales and swap meets. You can get some steals that way, and get 4x the bike as new would cost. Like cars - let someone else suffer the depreciation - just be prepared to do some wrenching on your own.

I bought a MTB off of eBay years ago - Titus Exogrid. New it would have been over $7,000. I got it for $2,400. It’s still worth $1,800 today - some 8 years later.

I have a bike with those, and I always wonder: what problem do these solve? I think they are a case of technology for technology's sake, not that they are an actual improvement over Schrader valves.

How? I have bikes with both, and I don't see any advantage to Presta valves. They seem more difficult to work with. They require special tools. WTF?

“Special tools?” You mean other than a Presta head on your pump rather than a Schrader head? Or you need to use one side of the head rather than the other? Hmm.

This is looking good to me...

With trail-smoothing IsoSpeed and a host of XC racing technology, Procaliber delivers serious performance for serious riders. If you want a bike that's smoother, lighter and faster than the rest, you want Procaliber.
