Sure do remember that. You either had to have about 5 guys pushing the car or be lucky enough to have a street on a hill...

Us stick shift guys never had that issue...just get her rollin' about 2-3 miles/hour and jump in, pop the clutch and you were good to go.

Yep... I drove an auto 66 Malibu with a bad starter around for a couple months one time, I was out of work and could not afford a new one. but I was in Tajunga ca at the time and every street in town was uphill or downhill, just had to be sure and park right. :)

started the car many times that way! always park on a little hill and you never have to worry about the car starting
