Ah, if by 7/1/2020 this virus has “matched” the 1st 6 months* of the Spanish Flu, then YOU agree to leave FR forever?

*Heck, make it 7 months.

I would advise extreme caution with your answer. Heeheehee.

Instapundit update - Evening 2/25 - https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/359523/

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Doctors and nurses fighting coronavirus in China die of both infection and fatigue. “The rate of new infections and deaths overall appears to be slowing in China. But the toll on medical workers reflects the harrowing costs of a politically delayed response that overwhelmed Wuhan and Hubei’s healthcare systems. Hospital staff were left underprotected, overworked and increasingly vulnerable, even as they became the touchstones between a frightened public and a misdirected government.”

I rely first on God through his word.

Second, on intuition derived from a particular view of the world. With regard to this topic, I rely on the certainty that the deep state will use any crisis to further their own, ultimately low IQ agenda.

The sources you list are variably, though consistently, unreliable.

Spanish Flu was from Jan 1918 to Dec 1920. Two years

By the way, to be precise, the stock market is not responding to any actual risk inherent to the corona virus, but only to risk believed in the minds of whoever is making decisions in the Chinese shipping industry. Or whoever makes influential decisions anywhere affecting the economy.

And most people who died from it, died in October-December of 1918.

Let’s just take those deaths as the benchmark.

5 months vs 3 months, don’t be scared.

GMTA. That’s exactly what I just posted.

Whether they can afford it or not there are too many who eat out every day. It’s ridiculous. Posted in my rely about two chickens that a 50 year old woman and a young newlywed couple all crying because they were clueless how to cook.

For their daily morning $10 trip to Starbucks for one cup of coffee and one fiber muffin, they could feed themselves for several days if they just would. Tonight’s home cooked dinner was $1.08 (max) per serving - beef and cheese chili relleno topped with salsa and a side of mixed dried black beans and small red beans from the garden. That’s nine meals for one trip to Starbucks even with store bought dried beans. Granted no salad but right now I’m avoiding any fresh produce that can’t be washed well, peeled and cooked. Tonight’s fresh pepper was washed, roasted and fried (yes, should have baked dinner instead of frying).

Saw a video of a young American guy in China going on a grocery shopping trip. Clueless in his clothing. Clueless in bringing into his apartment the suitcase he packed the food in after rolling it all over the streets. Clueless on what to buy. He purchased junk food like corn flakes, soda and what looked to be cookies.

Yes, those misled clueless people will be a burden on others.

Everyone should tweet this CDC Dr/Sister of Rod AND MSM “reporters” why, after millions and YEARS to prepare for situations such as these, are test kits faulty??

“Ir read somewhere that the rate of new cases in China is subsiding and the recovery rate is growing.”

I got thinking about that, the people of China are under very tight authoritarian control. People would get arrested for walking down the street with no mask. They would lock people into the buildings.

Could a country like the USA put the same authoritarian controls on Americans to control the outbreak? China also lock their entire country down within a week after they realize it was out of control.

We still do not know if the rates are going down. We still do not know the number of dead. They are sending people back to work to bring more money to save their economy.

Some people just need to “learn to math”. Current mortality rate for the more modern, honest countries; SK 1.024%, IT 3.106%, JP 0.588%, HK 2.381% Japan was lucky enough to ship a lot of their cases back to where the people came from. Didn’t die here, doesn’t count.

baah, it’s just like the flu and the msm trying to get people wound up and make Trump look bad. Whatever. That’s always true.

Yes, the msm and dems are in cahoots with Italy which is why Italy is shutting down entire towns. /s

Ok. So, that means what? That is probably the worst “It all right” arguments I’ve read yet.

There is probably a person walking around Wuhan who is not sick. Does that mean everyone is faking?

Tell your son he is playing with fire and within a few weeks, he’s not going to be in Korea...or he ain’t getting home.
