All it takes is one “he-man”, so-called leader who mocks us for caring about this. Now the he-men followers are jumping in. They should start their own thread. Bet not one of us would care, nor would we post a single comment.

“But do so many posters here seem desperate for everyone to be terrified of the coronavirus?”

You’re creative in your accusation disguised as a question

Maybe posters are simply looking at tends and using facts, not false premise to forecast future outcomes.

Based on your question,I suspect that the terror is within you, because I don’t read terror on these threads at all.

Just prepare is the common theme here.

Coronavirus: a contaminated German 60 km from the Belgian border

Two new cases of Covid-19 contamination were diagnosed in Germany on Tuesday, according to regional authorities.

Posted on 25/02/2020 at 23:19 by Belga

A German patient, originally from Erkelenz in North Rhine-Westphalia, about sixty kilometers from the Belgian border, has been confirmed infected with the new coronavirus, German authorities said on Tuesday, quoted by the dpa and ANP agencies. The person was transported to a university hospital in Düsseldorf (north-west).
...
Due to the recognized case in the regional state of North Rhine-Westphalia, schools and daycare centers in the city of Heinsberg, located near the border with the Netherlands, will be closed as a precaution on Wednesday, according to the Westdeutscher Rundfunk media. (WDR).

In addition, a 25-year-old man was also hospitalized in solitary confinement in the regional state of Baden-Württemberg (southwest). He would probably have been infected in Italy, in Milan.

These new cases bring the number of people infected in Germany to 18. The other affected people are treated in Bavaria (south) and Hesse (west).

https://www.cips.org/en/supply-management/news/2020/february/pg-warns-17600-products-possibly-hit-by-coronavirus/

“P&G’s CFO Jon Moeller, speaking at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference in the US, said P&G used 387 suppliers across China, shipping more than 9,000 materials.

“Each of these suppliers faces their own challenges in resuming operations,” he said.

Smartphones and cars are among the consumer products most affected by the outbreak, according to TrendForce.

TrendForce said forecasts for product shipments from China for the first quarter of 2020 had been slashed, by 16% for smartwatches (to 12.1m units), 12.3% for notebooks (30.7m units) and 10.4% for smartphones (275m units). Cars have dropped 8.1% (19.3m units).

“The outbreak has made a relatively high impact on the smartphone industry because the smartphone supply chain is highly labour intensive,” said a report.

It added: “Although automakers can compensate for material shortage through overseas factories, the process of capacity expansion and shipping of goods is still expected to create gaps in the overall manufacturing process.””

LOL, totally fake, the car stops before the truck pulls out in front of him, then he just lets the net go over his head and puts his hands behind his back before they’re on him.

Training exercise... we have come to find out, but they never did this for the flu or common cold. This one is a doozy.

Stay safe.

Agreed. I don’t know why some have to come on these threads with “ it’s only the flu, or it’s just the swine flu”. If that’s your belief fine, start your own thread as quit clogging informative threads up with your bullshit and denigrating others that care about the spread of this virus.

I am Speechless that the CDC has screwed up the Virus lab testing kits .
We are flying blind .
We have no real idea how many cases exist and
how many positive patients were sent away .

CDC staff need to be fired .
Not to mention there unreal conference while the WS was still open .
That smelled deliberate .

South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in says situation in the country ‘very grave’ as mass #coronavirus tests get going. South Korea’s tally of coronavirus cases rose to 977 and health officials reported the eleventh death from the COVID19, a 36-year-old man died on Tuesday. (AP)

No doubt in my mind that they will do this. The far left has no soul and will do it. Don’t doubt me on this.

And then they can say how stupid all the deplorable are and round us up.

There is nothing wrong with being prepared for anything. No one is saying otherwise. However, the “WE ARE ALLZ GOINZ TO DIEZ” stuff is over the top and wrong.

Were you aware that they changed the definition of a “case”? The first time they changed it they added several thousand cases...then they changed it back...losing thousands of cases. It is an example of why their numbers suck.

Better to look at Singapore, Korea and Italy. Singapore has been very open and they have a very good tracking system. Korea, Japan, and Italy have their own issues, but an open press.

I wouldn’t even listen much to the CDC. They’ve tested less than 500 cases and they haven’t sent accurate tests to most states. The CDC is not exactly demonstrating an abundance of expertise here. They will catch up. But keep an eye on the first world countries with a free press.

If it turns out to be nothing, what’s lost? Some beans and Mac n cheese. And they were on sale last week.

I think you are reading a tone I’m not seeing. In any open forum you have to separate the grain from the crap—on both sides of the argument.

Read the links. Make up your own mind. Dismiss the idiots and pray for the fools.
