There is a tissue mill in Flagstaff also.

Who would have thunk there was one in KINGMAN.

My Costco has been getting regular shipments, but sells out quickly. Especially now, with so many people not working. Try going in on a Tuesday or Wednesday, be in line before they open. I figure a truck gets loaded on Monday, and leaves the distribution point, then arrives at the store on Mon evening or Tues AM, and gets unloaded. I'm guessing it's probably going to be gone by the end of the day Wednesday. Don't be shy about having a nice conversation with the store management to get info, but they'll probably give you a vague "trucks come in regularly" answer.

I went last Wed and was able to get a 30-roll pack of Charmin (I'm good until next year, now). I was there today, but the only thing they had was the commercial brand Marathon. No other TP or paper towels.

They had plenty of gas, though. Paid $1.69 for it, Northern Virginia.

Thanks for that explanation of why we have this TP shortage.

Nobody in the federal government seems to be addressing this shortage.

Needs to be part of the emergency actions to get rid of these EPA regulations and bring some paper factories back to the US....if the price goes through the roof, so be it.

I think the OP is interested in the Albuquerque or even Santa Fe area where they can safely replenish supplies without undue risk considering their age and diabetes/asthma. Maybe people from that area can respond? You might also call the Albuquerque stores. Some have special hours for older/at risk people. You might also get someone who has knowledge of when they are expecting a shipment of toilet paper etc.

WRT food, Costco and most other grocery stores seem to be well stocked with fresh produce and bread. Frozen and canned seems to be stocked as normal. You’ll probably find short supplies of milk and eggs. The 50-lb bags of premium rice go quick here, but there’s a large Asian and Indian (dot-not-feather) population in this area.

That’s why TP is sold in six-roll packs.

Being a “Prepper” since the first election of Obummer I have 148 rolls of TP in my cache. Everybody in my area laughed at me 5 years ago. Funny how things turn out.

Can you use the pickup service rather than going into the store?

That hasn't worked too well for us. All the critical items are always out of stock, so we get half of our order. At least we have TP.
