Tony was hoping to bring his mRNA-1273 (or whatever he and Bill Gates have changed the name to) on the market in a few months and make big time money.

I’m talking about my weak Republican governor who issued a stay at home order caving to Democrat mayors. I’m ignoring it.

They will dock the ship on one end, and the crew on the other side.

Don’t you know how Island balancing works? Jeez.

(Sarcasm).

Grocery report for today (Indiana).

Aldi’s at about 85% of normal stock, not busy. Very few items not on the shelves, far better than 2 weeks ago, paper goods the primary thing lacking. Most shoppers older people and wearing PPE.

Meijer at about 80% of normal stock, moderately busy. Typical mix of customers, maybe more Dads than usual.

Costco was lining up people outside and only allowing them to enter at 15 minute intervals. Didn’t bother to queue up, but did buy gas at $1.44/gal, pumps not busy.

That no sew face mask would do in an emergency. It seems like it is too loose though.

Bookmarked it.

We have been spoiled here.

I want to introduce you to the _real_ FluBro crazies:

I work in medical examiners office. Suicides and murders are being classified as covid deaths if they carry the anti body. It's a numbers game, and a sham.

https://twitter.com/mnkybrd/status/1244389614107987969

You can't make up this stuff--like there is lots of spare testing and lab equipment hanging around out there to waste on anyone who shows up in the morgue...

Cut up a t-shirt. I like the nylon stocking rings for elastic replacement, way more comfortable than hair ties.

Not being a jerk...honest. I think the point is I did all those things, kept my distance. I didn’t lollygag. Anyone I spoke to on the walk was from the other side of the sidewalk.

I miss going to the movies, and I miss going out to eat. But that will come back.

I really believe there are a lot of folks thinking the Stassi is going to be at the end of the street. My son is a cop, and they aren’t stopping anyone. Will they break up a group of a dozen kids? Sure. But that’s just fun.

Are there any antibody tests on the market that an ME’s office would be using right now?

Asking.

More deaths and confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported Tuesday by counties around Washington, raising the statewide death toll so far to at least 223.

The state Department of Health, meanwhile, was unable to provide updated figures for the second day in a row due to continued technical glitches with the reporting tool it is using to track the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for the Washington data - they switched to a Microsoft interface, and it works as well as Windows 10 on a Commodore 64. (Or my laptop.)

EXPATS/STRANDED AMERICANS

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo orders Americans to return home ‘immediately’ due to COVID-19 saying he cannot guarantee charter flights once commercial planes cease to operate

... Ian Brownlee, who runs the State Department’s repatriation task force, told the radio network.

‘This is fairly complex contractual work. The State Department’s capacity to do this is being strained. We’re talking with the Department of Defense as to whether they can essentially help us out in lining up aircraft,’ he added.

NPR reported that flights from Morocco, Spain, Mexico, UAE, New Zealand, Kenya and Israel are all ‘in the queue’.
