Was catching up on the Obama-gate scandal, and poof, videos all gone.

BCP and BCP channel 2 displayed “No content here”.
15-20 minutes later, both channel contents reappeared when attempting to load.

BCP is great, but he has been getting a little wordy lately. I used to watch his show in one sitting, now I watch about ten minutes at a time.
He has an abundance of info which needs to be heard. Had not realized until recently he now has a second channel which he uses regularly. Two channels, and still not enough time to give proper coverage on all that has been hidden from WTP. Definitely a busy bee. A happy (talkative) warrior.
Where you are naive is not understanding that crony capitalism has economic benefits too. Furthermore it has massive social benefits, which matter a lot more to people who think like this.

You're over thinking this.
Google will become the "hidden hand" of whatever government has regulatory authority.
Ideology has nothing to do with it - only profit and suppression of competition.
They want to be aristocrats and agents of the social power structure. "Courtiers" is not really an exaggeration.
Also "The Lucifer Principle" will help in understanding this mindset.
The problem is, Alphabet and Facebook aren't liberal minded people.
They're publicly owned behemoths singularly focused on making money.
Don't anthropomorphize gigantic global companies.
And Disney incorporates this theory of yours? All their "woke" sh*t has been costing them audiences, and they aren't the only ones.
Rupert Murdoch created Fox news at the urging of Roger Ailes, who recognized there was a huge market out there for News that didn't have liberal spin. Where was that market so far as the rest of the liberal News agencies were concerned? Did they give a sh*t about it? No. Because connections to the government along with social connections to the "elite", was more desirable to them than added value for their stockholders.
Experiment beats theory every day of the week. If you would take a moment to examine your theory in light of "publicly owned behemoths" throwing away money so that they can advocate liberal policies, you might begin to understand that "the market" is merely one force among others that moves corporations to chart their course.
And when you get to a certain level of wealth, more "wealth" is not that enticing to you. How many more yachts or airplanes can you use? There are people with so much money they couldn't even spend it all before they died on all the material things they would want.
Do you know what people always want, and most of the time they want it above material things?
"Respect", and the perception that they are "Significant" and "Powerful."

You need to figure out that much of the motivation of our political enemies has nothing at all to do with money or markets.

They have a customer base heavy on families and children who aren't particularly political.
To the extent politics enters in they're going to lean liberal to appeal to the young people they depend on.

Ignored. Despite their bias the major networks didn't view themselves as leaning either way politically and weren't about to make an overt appeal to one side or the other.
Based on the success of Fox News you did see some cable outlets explicitly go after the leftist audience.
They did it for money and if the major nets thought they would make more that way they would do it too.
The fact is explicitly partisan stations are a niche product.

You can make a tenuous case that Alphabet of Facebook are swayed by the politics of their leaders since Brin, Page and Zuckerberg retain significant voting control. They don't have anything close to financial control, however.
If the global investors who have fueled their incredible financial success saw it threatened by their politics they would be gone and their stocks would plummet.
With Disney the control is so dispersed you can't even make the basic case.
The only way what you're talking can happen in the real world is something like Fox News or OANN who's business plan is to focus on a niche market and not the mainstream, or as a vanity project by a wealthy individual or group of investors who don't care primarily about returns.
It's just wrong to think public companies can thrive like the techs have and still be motivated more by ideology than profit.
You need to figure out that much of the motivation of our political enemies has nothing at all to do with money or markets.
If their motivation isn't more money for the shareholders the shareholders will speak and either leadership will respond or the company will die for lack of capital.
