In a statement to the Associated Press, Whitmer said bars and restaurants in two northern regions of the state could soon reopen with 50 percent limited capacity. Servers would be required to wear face coverings and groups would be required to stay 6 feet apart.
That's pretty damn good coming from Fuhrer Whitmer! Congratulations to the good people of Michigan.
Meanwhile, here in The People's Soviet Socialist Republik of Connecticut, we can't even go to a hair salon or barber shop, nor a ton of other places. Restaurants can only reopen if they have *outside only* dining, and with a super-reduced capacity. Which will kill off most existing CT restaurants. It SUCKS here!
She has to make it seem like she’s in charge, since many are ignoring her “orders”.
She has subscribed to a new policy—when you are being run out of town, get out front and try to make it look like a parade.

Amazing that the good people of the UP have this much patience. Why don’t all the good folks north of the Mackinac bridge just say... “see you later?” and form their own state? Seriously... they have nothing in common with anything south of the bridge.
