Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) said on Tuesday that she has had an “opening conversation” with Joe Biden’s campaign about her potential as a running mate pick for the former vice president and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
In an interview on NBC’s “The Third Hour of Today,” Whitmer revealed that she has had a “conversation with some folks” about the running mate slot, but said that she did not see the discussion as particularly formal and is solely committed for the time being to her official duties as governor.
“It was just an opening conversation and it’s not something that I would call a professional, formalized vetting,” Whitmer told NBC’s Craig Melvin.
“I am making a little bit of time to stay connected to the campaign, but the most important thing that I have to do right now is be the governor of my home state. That’s all that matters to me in this moment.”

Biden has offered little information as to who specifically he is considering, though he has said that he wants to choose a running mate that is “simpatico” with him. He is also said to particularly value political experience - a quality Whitmer certainly has from nearly two decades of public service in state and local government.

Couldn’t agree more. In fact last night I was pondering who the RATs might pick if Slow Joe’s dementia can no longer be hidden from the low-info voters.
I immediately thought of Whitmer. Forget VP, she’s be a perfect RAT presidential candidate.
1.) She’s an angry leftist female, therefore a member of one of the RATs’ core grievance group.
If you’re a RAT, it doesn’t matter what your grievance is, just as long as you have a grievance that has corroded your mind and soul to the point you can longer process rational thought or Christian compassion.
2.) As one of the more conspicuously tyrannical governors, Whitmer represents to perfection the authoritarian values of today’s RAT party. As such, she serves as a warning to conservatives and freedom-loving independents. But her cruel nature will appeal to the masochistic RAT base, who are willing to undergo any amount of pain as long as they can push their particular grievances.

This woman, Gretchen Dearest, is TOXIC! She has a sort of reverse Midas touch, that is, anything golden, she turns back into common mundane things, of little value.
Yeah, Joe, go for it. But as a precondition, she must resign her current post as governor of Michigan.
He must be desperate to take Michigan if he’s looking at her.
Her won citizen want to run her out of the State on a rail! Maybe Grandpa Groper sniffed her hair and likes it!
