Borrell was accused earlier this month of watering down a report on the coronavirus because China didn't like it.This could be him doubling down on his support for China.

On the other hand, politicians say a lot of things that journalists boil down in ways that suit the journalists. Borrell has been critical of China in the past, and American reporters may only have heard his criticism of Trump and ignored the rest.

And when the tiger bites them, who will they turn to then? China is not as forgiving as the US. When these idjits look towards China for help and receive it then default, China will come in and take control of their country. They w ill take all profit making streams for themselves first, and it will be like a snowball rolling down a hill until it becomes a full on avalanche.

Put your hand in the tiger’s cage and it will be bitten off.

Europe has denigrated the United States practically from its founding. Churchill knew that the USA would save Europe from itself. Later, Adenauer knew likewise. Ostensibly, the USA did not have the stomach for a Cold War. Nor would it protect its allies in Asia. Osama Bin Laden misjudged America, just as Stalin had and Hitler had. And now we have the Chinese — and who is dependent on whom? Democrats, as is their wont, have already surrendered. But just when we needed a powerful president, we got him. And on this day, it is quite right to say, ‘Thank God.’

And this puts the Mao-era in perspective. It basically was
“shock therapy” to wean China off of foreign influence.

But China wasn’t always going to be isolated, they knew eventually their market size would be too tempting to ignore. And then came the “charm offensive” with Deng Xiao Ping.

And now, we’re trapped!

Europe learned nothing at the battle of Tours, nothing from the third Reich, and nothing from the EU. Europe is incorrigible.

>Nor from the Napoleonic wars, the Kaiser’s Great War, and if Russia is considered part of Europe as they used to: Lenin and the Bolsheviks, Trotsky, Stalin.

Yep, but we should not expect God looking over us forever the way we behave. We have been “lucky” so far.

Yeh know...

This might be a good thing.

I mean, think of it this way. When the time comes and things go hot between us and the Chicomm, being able to start our offensive by landing on the beaches of France would sure make the seaborne part of our logistics chain easier to manage.

Borrell is just another European socialist, with ties to at least one organization funded by Soros.

What I expected and feared. Europe has no plan to hold China to account and are willing to sell their soul to them. This makes America’s job that much harder. If the whole world got on board to punish and reign China in, it could be done, but heartless Europeans will continue to trade with China.
