Some of my Democratic friends have asked me how I can possibly consider voting for Donald Trump in light of his vulgar comments about women and his alleged disrespect for fallen American soldiers. The answer is that the election is not about Donald Trump or Joe Biden; it is about the future of the United States. The renowned historian Victor Davis Hanson's "Plague, Panic, and Protests — the Weird Election Year of 2020" requires about 30 minutes, but it is worth hearing if you have the time.
The "woke" Democrat left has published proven lies about President Trump to the effect that he advised people to swallow or inject themselves with disinfectants and bleach to cure coronavirus, and that he forced illegal alien detainees to drink out of toilets.

The "woke" left does have the power to "cancel" people the same way the Nazis, Soviets, and Chinese communists forced their political opponents out of educational and employment opportunities. Black Lives Matter, unlike white supremacists, has the support of corporations like Starbucks, sports organizations like the NFL and NBA, and major universities. The best way to imagine the menace from BLM is to think of the Ku Klux Klan when it enjoyed the support of a good part of the country more than 100 years ago. The behavior in both cases involves (1) propaganda to incite racial tensions between Americans and (2) civil disorder under color of same. The leaders of BLM and white supremacist hate groups are symbiotes that need one another to survive because, if either disappeared, the other would have no enemy against which to rally its deluded followers.

Western civilization is up for a vote.
The left has been prepared and mobilized for a long time, waiting for the right time to strike. With the virus pandemic going on, the death of George Floyd was the trigger. There is no other explanation for how organized and seemingly spontaneous the nationwide riots were. The complete lack of any ammunition available in stores can only mean that not only are conservatives buying ammo, the left is too. We are headed for civil war, and the left is much more prepared than we are.
They’re more prepared because they’re protecting their fiefdoms - they have money and power on the table. We’re just trying to protect our families and our way of life...
Stupid virtue signaling. I don't think such crap should be tolerated at all. We are on verge of civil war. Anarchy is consuming some of our cities. These are bad times for the country.
Anyone who gets their panties in a wad because of how the President phrases things on Twitter should be slapped hard. And the bit about disrespecting our soldiers is a straight up lie. People who lie should be slapped twice.

It’s hand painted poorly on a small piece of plywood and nailed 20 feet up a phone pole.
It’s funny they feel compelled to advertise their treason but also paranoid about its safety.

They are plastered all over the place here along with BLM signs and graffitti. This is in a neighborhood on the West Coast with less than 10% black people.
We’re in a D-heavy area, so there aren’t many signs for any Republicans. Between vandalism and theft of the signs by township public works crews, R’s keep a low profile. Signs supporting ‘Sniffy’ are up, but not in the numbers I remember for ‘her’ 4 years ago. That could change as we get closer to the election. I don’t sense any softening of D support among people in the community. People are still very scared of the virus and complying with all the governor’s mandates, which I take as an indicator of who is guzzling from the propaganda pipeline.
