Very true about the steroids, that’s how come I got cataracts early. Too much prednisolone from a doctor what I had no clue what I had but still tried to help.
But this cataract surgeon only wants me to take one drop of bromsite a day. It’s a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. Eye doctor in Boston said I needed a lotemax taper for 3 months. So they got together and compromised on one drop of bromsite and one drop of lotemax. Today I woke up with my right eye quite puffy and a little bit of pain, which didn’t go away until I took the lotemax. Two other cataract surgeons that I consulted with before deciding on this one in Winston-Salem said they would have me on Prednisolone four times a day for a month. So this is a big difference. But I’ll just use extra until the puffiness and pain goes away. Hopefully just a few days. But I definitely don’t want to have the neuropathy come back because of inflammation. I can’t get cataracts again :-) and I’m having my pressure checked every two weeks.
I know Rudy’s not intimidated. But I hope he has bodyguards!
