When the primaries rolled around here in 2016, Cruz and Trump were all that were left of the candidates. I liked both of them, but felt that Cruz didn’t qualify because of his Canadian birth to only one American parent (at the time, anyway). I flipped a coin 3 times. Each turned up for Cruz. Something in my gut wouldn’t go away. I voted for Trump instead. Been backing Trump ever since. That gut feeling has been guiding me well for much of my life.

Sure, it’s a cheap shot, but it’s funny and it hits home, and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving smarmy two-faced jerk, unless of course you include Anthony Weiner or George Conway.
