Hall of Fame linebacker Kevin Greene, considered one of the fiercest pass-rushers in NFL history, has died. He was 58.
Greene died Monday, the family confirmed, as did the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
No cause of death was given.
"The entire Pro Football Hall of Fame family mourns the passing of Kevin Greene," Hall of Fame president and CEO David Baker said in a statement Monday. "I regarded him as a personal friend and a true Hall of Famer in every sense. He possessed the most incredible can-do attitude of anyone I ever met. He was a great player, but more than that, he was a great man."

I remember him when he went to the Super Bowl with Steeler against the Cowboys. A reporter asked him if the Cowboys had an advantage over the Steelers because the Cowboys had Cheerleaders and the Steelers did not. He said, “I don’t answer stupid questions.”
Too bad he didn’t know his QB sold out and threw to the other tean.
I don’t know if he used ‘roids but it wouldn’t surprise me if he did given the high usage amongst athletes in that era. Also, he was a professional wrestler post NFL. Look at how many wrestlers drop dead of heart attacks which are caused by long term steroid use.
