I just checked and it's true.. Bob Menendez is still the chairman of the foreign relations committee in the Senate!
Do the Democrats have no shame?
What happened to the ethics violations against him? I think some are still outstanding!
He should definitely not be in charge of an important committee like this...
You have to admit that he’s an expert at foreign relations - especially when it comes to foreign relations with underage Thai girls...
Let’s make you the Senate minority leader. The Dems want Menendez to run the committee. What are you going to do about it? My guess would be the same as the current minority leader.
He's into screwing Republicans wherever he can find them.

When he ran for re-election last time, the liberal media were seriously discussing, if the voters would prefer honest man or Democratic crook. Guess what? They cheered the crook!
And the voters did not disappoint them!

He’s a dem.. all is forgiven. People seem to not understand the amazingly deep wellspring of grace voters give to wayward democrats. A GOPer would be bounced out of office just for even a hint of wrongdoing, but dems get a perpetual pass. That’s why Cuomo will survive his current turbulence.

The sad thing is he’ll win again in the next election. Not because he deserves it, not because there isn’t a groundswell of outrage against him, but because that’s the way the machine works. He will have enough money to beat off any primary challenge and the Republicans will put up yet another lovable loser who won’t dare lead with the obvious because pointing out the whole “he diddled teenagers” accusation is badanners, and even if they did, the candidate won’t get party backing to fight like he or she needs to in order to win because it’s New Jersey and the Republican party in New Jersey is happy playing the role of lovable loser in exchange for bleeding their usual donors who get their state contracts in exchange for funding the whole charade.

He was acquitted. In order to be considered qualified for office as a Dem, you just need that one holdout juror.
Well, yes he was acquitted of taking bribes so Menendez is clearly innocent. But everybody else in the ring were convicted of GIVING bribes to Menendez.
Obviously, Menendez never got the money, right?
They were convicted of not spreading it around enough
What was his defense? “I did t realize he was trying to bribe me. I just thought he liked me a lot.”
