UFC commentator and 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast host Joe Rogan shared on Instagram on Wednesday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
On Instagram Live he told his followers that after several days of feeling feverish and exhausted, he tested positive.
"We immediately threw the kitchen sink at it," he said in the video. "Monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-Pak, prednisone." He claimed that after three days, he felt rejuvenated.

He was sick and now he feels fine. Its barely even a story. Maybe the medicine worked and maybe covid is 99.9% non-lethal for younger people with no serious health issues.

Ivermectin must be very effective since the media has been going out of their way to demean it.
This “horse dewormer” BS is pure propaganda. I am so tired of our lazy media regurgitating government talking points.
There is no suggestion at all that Joe Rogan is using the “horse dewormer” paste. All indications are he is taking tablets prescribed by a doctor.
Yes, it can be used for farm animals in a paste, or injection.
It is also available for household pets, as are many medicines which are identical to the human version just different dose.
It is also available for a variety of “FDA approved” human uses and has many properties that make it a very good potential treatment, in conjunction with other medications and vitamins, to stop covid from infecting human cells. It has anti-viral properties.
There is a good paper from about 10 years ago detailing some of the proposed mechanisms of action for Ivermectin.
Ivermectin is listed by the World Health Organization as an essential medicine for all countries to stockpile for human use.
I am not saying it is 100% guaranteed to work, unfortunately nobody has any incentive to study it the proper way because it is a cheap generic. But there is very sound biological rationale for why it should work very well, when used with Zinc, and with D3, C, and antibiotics among a few others.
Ivermectin was discovered I think over 50 years ago by a farmer in Japan who wanted to know why his crops were doing so well (and found Ivermectin in the soil), sent samples to Merck who patented it. It has anti-fungal, anti-parasitic and anti-viral properties. That patent is expired.

Chemotherapy was originally a biological warfare agent. It kills cells. Hopefully it kills the cancer cells before it kills all the other cells. That’s the idea, anyway.
Thalidomide is good for MS and other ailments. But if taken by pregnant women the babies need a lot of prayers.

Everywhere around the world its a people drug as well for any number of troublesome conditions and infestations
And its long tried and tested and as far as a modern drug is concerned, safe, and the real kicker is affordable
And hence the demoniztion and attempts to smear or label it as an animal drug
I don’t think the version is different at all. Just the delivery system and the way it is encapsulated/suspended. Humans and small animals can get a pill. Farm animals get a paste and possibly a subcutaneous injection (not 100% sure on that). Otherwise, ivermectin is ivermectin - like acetaminophen is acetaminophen whether gel cap, capsule, tablet, or children’s flavored liquid.

Any article that characterizes Ivermectin as livestock medicine is disinformation.
Ivermectin won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for treatment of people.
