I loved listening to his show the day before Christmas. Last year was a tough one but I was so happy I did!!!! Rush will be forever in my heart!!!!! Hope to meet him one day on the other side!!!!!!!!!!
I miss Rush too.đ
Rush’s counterpart, or opposite is still around; Micheal Savage. Mike Savage is no longer on terrestrial radio, the kind I still use. I believe he has a podcast on internet radio. My problem with Mike is he was always excessively gloomy and pessimistic. No doubt, he is now grimly gloating about being 100% correct about each of his dire predictions.
I listened to Rush everyday while working in my sewing room for my online business. I tried a couple times to listen since he paased, but when they would replay something of Rush, I just couldn’t deal with the intense feeling of loss, and it hasn’t gotten any better. The only sound in my sewing room is silence ( machines running if course).
Everytime the song “My City Was Gone” comes on the radio I think of Rush and realize how much I miss those 3 hours of my day.
I still start to turn the car radio on when I’m out during the Rush til 3:00PM time slot.
âTalent on loan from GoooooooooooooDDDDâ. He surely was and God reclaimed him as the terms of that loan were completed. Our loss is Heavenâs gain.

I was just thinking the same thing! Tomorrow is the day that Rush would be reciting his âTrue Story of Thanksgivingâ. Little did we know that 2020 would be the last year that we would hear it. I was just thinking how very much I miss him when I saw this thread. As much as possible, I was listening from 12-3 every day! I do not dislike Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, but I do not listen to their show much at all. I have become addicted to Steve Bannonâs Warroom Pandemic instead! There will never be another like Rush, but he has left a rich legacy in the beliefs and hearts of those of us who were his loyal listeners!
The day Rush died, I sat in my car and bawled my eyes out. I’ve never reacted that way to the death of a celebrity.
I miss him every day.
Yep.
I really do miss Rush.
I rarely missed a show the last few years and now hardly turn on the radio.
I hang out here instead.
Mega ditto’s. It’s like a huge slice of America is missing. I have six months of his EIB podcasts on my phone from the last year before he passed. Maybe someday I’ll be able to listen to them.
My sister (a far leftie) works at a radio station in DC. Years ago, Rush came in to pay the station a visit. She asked him to sign a photo of his for my 50th birthday.
He obliged.
I have that photo on my wall in my home office.
I so miss the man.
Feb. 17, 2021. The day talk radio died.
Yep, we all miss him.
Ditto đ
It’s so strange, but I miss him like he was a close relative.
