The gunman who killed three people in an Indiana mall yesterday fired 24 rounds from a legally owned rifle after waiting in the mall bathroom for an hour, and was killed two minutes after he started shooting by a Good Samaritan.
Jonathan Sapirman, 20, is the gunman responsible for yesterday's attack at the Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana. He had recently been evicted from his apartment, according to his family.
Sapirman waited in the mall bathroom for an hour before he opened fire in the food court using a Sig Sauer 400M rifle that he legally purchased in March this year at a local gun store.
He killed Pedro Pineda, 56, Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, 37, and Victor Gomez, 30. It's unclear if he shot them at random or if they were intended targets.
Sapirman was then shot dead by 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken, who was shopping with his girlfriend and who pulled out his own weapon when he saw the gunman open fire.
Dicken was named by police on Monday and was hailed as a hero for his quick-thinking.
'His actions were nothing short of heroic. He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun and was very proficient,' Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison said at a press conference on Monday afternoon where he also revealed;

Maybe this man who saved an untold number of people by acting quickly could train the Uvalde police how to react and stop a massacre in under 75 minutes. If he was carrying 3 30-rd mags as reported, the toll could have been a helluva lot higher. Good shoot young man.

Lawyer indicated Indiana no problem entering with no gun signage but Texas does have a law that indicates it would be a problem

The hero who stopped him was 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken, who was shopping with his girlfriend and who pulled out his own weapon when he saw the gunman open fire .
Dicken had no law enforcement or military training but was 'proficient' in taking down the gunman.
Video showed him calmly gesturing for crowds to evacuate while he trained his weapon on Sapirman.
Vigilante is actually a member of an organization formed to replace non existent or corrupt police. A spur of the moment one off taking care of business guy is a Hero.
Looks like a driver’s license photo, to me, but he didn’t drive. State ID, maybe?
He needed that state ID here in Indiana to vote for Democrats.
Two rifles, and a handgun. $500 optic on the Sig. He may have been evicted for something other than non-payment of rent.
Like the woman in West Virginia that stopped the guy with an A.R. 15 this young man also stopped a bad guy with an A.R. 15.
In both cases the good guys had only a pistol.
No formal training.
No body armor.
No ballistic shields.
No adult record
Apparently he moved forward while engaging the shooter. Competent and badass.

Maybe a well crafted plea from the police chief requesting the sir to not harm anyone else would have extendended if you know what I meannnn?
So this CHILD was evicted from his apartment-had no money for rent but had $1,000 to buy a rifle and bullets? Funny how all these shooters are young and poor but find thousands of dollars to buy guns to shoot people.
