Stern, who managed to avoid getting COVID-19 since the pandemic hit the US by living a hermit-like lifestyle, told his audience Monday that his luck finally ran out.
SNIP
Stern, 69, cautioned his audience that this is not an illness to be trifled with. “I just want to announce something. COVID is really bad,” he added. “You do not want COVID. Oh (Explitive)." “Man, I went through hell … I’ve really never been this sick,” he said.

Stern also thanked those who helped develop the vaccine against COVID-19. “What a wallop this thing is — can you imagine if we didn’t have the vaccine?”

He had a MAN COLD
The overwhelming majority of people who get Covid show no symptoms or insanely mild symptoms that’s been true from day one.
The reaction to this was all based on lies from day one.
God forbid we attempt to garner that data.
I’ve had the standard real flu.... when you get a legitimate case of influenza A or B it can kick your butt.. its not a cold... it is far more severe. Took me completely out of action for 2 full days, day one I didn’t do anything but lay in bed sleeping, sweating, and only got out to go to the bathroom and drink some fluids.
Day 2 I remained in bed, sweating, no real motivations, was more conscious that I was day one, but still spent most of it sleeping and only leaving bed for bodily needs.
Day 3, I finally felt well enough to at least get out of bed, shower and go to the doctor to confirm it wasn’t something else, still had a fever and sweating profusely...
Mostly laying around the house for the next two days.. fever finally broke and started to mend.
Took a good 3 months or more before I finally shook the coughing and got my lungs back to anything close to what they were before I got the flu.
I don’t doubt a bad case of Coronavirus isn’t fun, but neither is a TRUE case of the flu.
You have to BE a man to have a man cold....it was more than likely menstrual cramps. 😂
I've had Covid twice, once before the vaccines came out and once a year later after I'd had the Moderna vaccine. If I had it to do over I wouldn't have taken the vaccine but that's a separate subject, because of my job it was almost unavoidable. The shots didn't make any difference to me for getting it, and neither of the times I had it were that bad, I've had worse cases of the flu.
feh...
I woke up with the a fever at 1 am on New Years day(actually still night). Had not been drinking!
I spent until 3:30 pm on New Years day in bed. Mostly because I did not want to get my visiting son sick. The fever broke and then came back the next night when the Theraflu wore off.
I spent the next day January 2nd on the couch. The next day I went back to work. So, I got over influenza in two days.
FYI, I watched the “Equalizer 3”
and “Society of the Snow”
both movies I would recommend. Also caught up on Reacher.
Well, shoot! He’s still alive.
I agree with everyone who notes that this man - still a darling of many conservatives for some unexplainable reason - is a pu$$y. He’s a tool of organized crime.
I’d thought of that also. Which is why my post was laced with a dash of uncertainty.
My 13 y.o. grandson had heart surgery after Christmas. He contracted Covid a few days ago, but seems to be okay. Now my son-in-law, his father, has it, and is sick as a dog. But really, it is just a flu. I have been really sick with the flu, but have not (yet) contracted covid.
“He has now been diagnosed with AFIB, has had to have a pacemaker implanted and recently received his SECOND ablation.”
My friend and her hubby got the shots early on because they assumed it was safe. They’re VERY conservative and did it before there was much back-and-forth on the subject. That was in 2020.
In November, she was diagnosed with A-fib and had ablation (8 hours!) in December. She didn’t bounce back as she normally does, and expected she would. She’s 80 and has walked 3 miles, twice!, a day.
Now she’s weak and pitiful. I gently asked if she thought the fax had anything to do with it. She said, “Probably.”
Hopefully, the scumbag was denied treatment....he had the cure, and took it and suggested those who didn’t should have their freedom taken away and forced into submission.

I got it in March. No shot, no bad symptoms except a high ever, no appetite loss. I did notice fatigue for about a month or two after, but all is well.
Whimp!
“... can you imagine if we didn’t have the vaccine?”
We need some new lyrics for that “Imagine’ song by John Lennon
Hey Howard, Let’s go ask the Amish...they didn’t get it.
Covid is a weaponized cold at worst and redefined by a new strain of virus every 3 weeks as it mutates at best. Strain whatever into eternity.
Wimp!
Or they all got it and survived. Bet it wasn’t like going through hell either.
Howard, "Eff you. Eff your freedom. It's not the cure and you took it anyway."
This man should be given the choice - leave the United States forever or be a test subject for the rest of his life for every concoction that pharmaceutical korporations develop. If it was good enough for him to decree on everyone else, let him live it.
