On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Source,” Denver Mayor Mike Johnston stated that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) doesn’t see people crossing the border as people “who are trying to do exactly what the Statue of Liberty says, which is, send us your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” He also stated that he hopes Texas stops sending migrants to Denver during the winter storm and “A strategy of having folks just sent to New York and Chicago and Denver I think is not setting them up for success or setting our cities up for success.”

My grandparents were legally let into this country and had a job, a sponsor, and a place to stay lined up, and they were healthy and not criminals.
There’s no comparison of those who came in through Ellis Island and the illegals, human traffickers, gang members, drug cartels, and terrorists waltzing into the country expecting and demanding free hand outs and the red carpet treatment.
That would be awesome in so many ways.

I’ve been to the Vineyard and Nantucket. Lots of hardworking folks there, that don’t have a mega yacht at the marina or waterfront mansion. They and so many other normal folks in Massachusetts pay a price for the martians that run things.
