Given the current state of affairs and the trajectory we’re on, living in any metro area could prove to be not just a bad choice, but potentially a fatal one.
I had an “opportunity” to move to Pittsburgh about 10 years ago with my then current job but the property taxes there are 20% higher than where I lived then and now. Something the employer conveniently failed to reveal outside of our own personal research.
So thankful I let that job go and stayed put. Was rapidly starting to hate the job with a passion anyway.
Yeah go to Austin Round Rock and try to buy a house. Funny stuff right there.
