Special counsel Robert Hur, who investigated and declined to charge former President Joe Biden over classified materials found in his home and office, resigned from the Justice Department and will appear as a private citizen in his testimony to the House Judiciary Committee, according to The Independent’s Andrew Feinberg.

Former Mueller prosecutor Andrew Weissmann explained that the Justice Department “cannot give instructions” to a former employee about what he “can and cannot testify to.”
“That makes it even more problematic from our perspective ... if he was still a federal employee, DOJ would have to approve his testimony and they’d be involved in his appearance tomorrow,” a Democratic Judiciary Committee source told The Independent.

To that point, I consider it nearly a sure thing that Biden will steal it in 2024 with 100 million votes. Trump will protest and be arrested straightaway. Trump supporters will be crushed by the authorities with extreme prejudice. The Democrats will go full gestapo on all issues everywhere.
We have established that the GOP won’t stop them. The courts won’t stop them. The states won’t stop them. And average people in the street are just “domestic terrorists” and definitely should not be allowed to stop them.
They will steal it, and bring the jackboot down. Why wouldn’t they??

Hur had a slam dunk case. Biden’s state of confused mind was and how he would be perceived by a sympathetic jury on the stand were irrelevant. He should have been prosecuted. The only elements of the crime are knowledge he had classified documents and removing them from the SCIF and not returning them. Hur had Biden’s admissions to these elements during the interview. These admissions were admissible to establish the elements of the case at trial even if Biden was no longer lucid when tried. If this were a Democrat special prosecutor and the subject of the investigation was Trump, there is no way he would not have been prosecuted.

So I check out the hearing, and someone asks a whole slew of loaded questions about finding evidence of President Trump’s alleged skulduggery, and he just says, “No.” As if that was what he was investigating.
I had looked in a little while ago and Eric Swallwell was celebrating the open borders, so I left then, too.
I give up.

Hur this morning said something I’ve advocated for a long time. When questioned about his political affiliation, he stated that politics should have no bearing on how a special counsel does his job. I’ve said that should apply to ALL judges, prosecutors, etc. from municipal to the USSC. Using desired political outcome instead of the facts and the law to decide cases should be an impeachable offense.
The libs on the USSC were roundly criticized by the left for the Colorado/Trump ballot decision. But the fact is it was a political decision; upholding Trump’s removal would have opened the door for Biden to be removed in a dozen or so states!

No; I'm pretty sure that's only celebrated by homosexual couples who get ahold of children (previous marriage, artificial insemination, bad adoption policies) and proceed to ruin their lives convincing them God made them a "mistake" of wrong DNA.
Seriously though, Mr. Hur appears to be both competent and sane so I suspect his testimony is factual, his resignation a necessary tactic to free himself from a corrupt organization and that he has security measures ongoing.
Because elephants and people like Hillary never forget - and trample over whatever makes them angry.

Clarification: While Hur appears to be telling the truth as far as he knows it with his testimony favoring Biden over President Trump, he must be going against orders from Justice Department superiors in a way so severe as to make him resign. In the middle of these hearings.
Judicial and State are true rats nests of bad actors in dire need of flushing out. Like Hercules diverting a river to clean out the king’s stables.
