The term “long COVID” should be tossed aside like a stack of expired N95 masks — that’s according to health experts in one country, who found that symptoms of those reportedly suffering a year on weren’t any different than your typical virus, such as the flu.
Government-backed medical researchers in Australia say it’s time to stop using the fear-inducing phrase, which became popular after high volumes of people testing positive for COVID-19 led to a surge in generally non-severe “virus fatigue symptoms” that would normally have gone unnoticed, South West News Service reported.
“We believe it is time to stop using terms like ‘Long COVID’,” said Dr. John Gerrard, Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, who oversaw the newly-released study.

I’m really shocked that any Government Agency tells this truth, especially Australia, where they had ‘Covid Prisons’
Tell that to the COVID-19 survivors who have lasting maladies from Remdesivir and the Vaxx.
Well, that would be more like Long BigPharma than Long Covid.
Yeah.
Remind me again who the fear mongers are?
Don’t know much about long covid (as I had a mild case using Ivermectin some 2 years ago). I did have a long fatigue reaction to Epstein Barr back in the eighties - wiped me out with fatigue for two months after major symptoms disappeared.
If it is real with the covid/cold virus, I hope folks get over it.
Too late, no refunds. These government agencies no credibility to even tell you that water is wet.
Tell that to my brother, once half and robust, who is now permanently disabled thanks to long COVID.
Covid PING
Yep.
They just don’t want to pay disability so they can give the money to the illegals.
No such thing as long COVID?
I guess my two hospitalizations in the last two weeks, and the 15 different meds I’m juggling, were all figments of my imagination? How about the permanent lung scarring, the COPD, the novel seizures, having my digestive system shut down, losing control of my autonomic functions? You mean my pulmonologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, neurologist, and staff at the hospital were lying?
Good. Give me the last 3 years of my life, my health, plus the $20K or so in co-pays back.
I’ll be happy to tell my pulmonologist, who I saw today, that he was wrong; my latest exposure to COVID didn’t exacerbate my existing COVID lung scarring, my family didn’t have to call an ambulance because my lungs were filling with fluid and my blood/oxygen levels were dropping dangerously, that my family didn’t need to cancel spring break, that I haven’t been reduced to a shadow of my former self because some wads on the internet claim it was just the flu.
The gaslighting continues.
I call BS, especially since I have been suffering from it for almost three years. Had the flu countless times and never had any residual effects. Had COVID once and I am still feeling the effects.
This is from Tucker Carlson on the 13th. Very helpful.

I don’t think you need an account to watch, just to respond.
The actual long-term maladies are caused by the jabs and the follow-on “treatments”...
Most everything about the Fauci Flu is based on “unneccesary fear” ... whatever that qualification of the word “fear” means.
This really burns me up. I have Long Covid, had is since late 2022. Symptoms have reduced a bit, but show no signs of completely going away. Probably won’t. Those folks in Australia really got their heads screwed on wrong.
Now this is interesting.
Bet the millions with anosmia and/or ageusia would disagree.
If there’s a long COVID, to my mind those two disorders fit the bill.
So why is Deep State denying this is an issue?
WTH else has Deep State done...
The incidences of anosmia and ageusia are likely due to a lack of treatment, especially when it really might have helped which is right after a confirmed diagnosis of coof.
Up here in my Upstate NY neck of the woods, I don’t know anyone who has been able to get treatment for either condition.
