Canadians also unhappy with country’s direction

Prepare to read a remarkable statement: “everything is broken in this country.”

According to a recent poll, 70 percent -- seventy! -- of Canadians agreed with that assertion. Those surveyed say that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s (radically) Liberal government is too focused on climate change and the war in Ukraine, and not dealing with issues important to them, such as the high -- and rising -- cost of living.

“Everything is broken in this country.”

Much the same is true in America, where the (radically) progressive Biden administration is obsessed with battling climate change, funding the war in Ukraine, and making sure that everyone’s preferred pronouns -- and bathroom choices -- are honored. The parallels are striking. The majority of Americans want the government to get their southern border under control, and the consequent drug and sex trafficking to be eliminated or greatly reduced. They also want crime -- and inflation -- to be reduced. And the budget deficit, too.

And, sadly, there is another striking parallel. Canadians and Americans have agreed for some time now that their respective countries are going in the wrong direction. Yet, in both nations, the same (or similar) politicians that caused the problems -- or who at least refuse to address the issues their constituents/citizens care most about -- keep getting elected. In fact, in the U.S., a great many who flee from “blue” states to “red” states apparently end up voting … as their fellow blue state residents did.

How can this be? There are only three possibilities: 1) Many Canadians and Americans are too ignorant of the causes and effects of politicians and their policies to vote in a manner that would allow for the changes they claim to want. 2) They really don’t want what they claim to want...

In this day and age, a 2 X 4 across the side of the head might wake them from their blind stupor of staring at their “smart” phones, imbibing in their vices and other distractions. The frog in the pot of soon to be boiling water seems to be an apt analogy. And it isn’t only Canada suffering from this malaise; all across the Western World, top to bottom.

It’s the city dwellers who control the government and they think things are just fine.

This may have changed but the last poll l saw 2/3 of Canadians supported either the Liberals -far left or the NDP -insane left. This is why they are the world’s underachiever.

They better organize. That’s all I’ve got to say about it. The big cities on their east side are destroying that nation.

and Pierre Polieviere (sp?) is leading the charge against Trufaux.
He loves Canada, is no slave to the globalists and a staunch conservative

Money and effective marketing...consequently that is the same way to make a misinformed voter. Here in the US, Democrats have the media, and also many times the money Republicans have to blanket the airwaves with their narratives with little to no way for Republicans to respond adequately to this onslaught. Hence, why pro-life states are voting for radical pro-abortion policies they overwhelmingly don’t even agree with, as this is being portrayed as the pro-family values vote - ads with clergy, grandmothers, smiling kids, etc. And that is only one issue. Biden was portrayed as saintly, strong, bold vision, etc. in 2020 - all over the place with these triumphant ads - on many networks with zero presence by Trump. Based on the latest fundraising numbers, it appears it will be the same way again this time around. Not just Trump, but candidates all up and down the ballot now and in the last few cycles have had very little money compared to the Democrats.

Aside from this, the conservatives won the “national popular vote” in Canada, but no one in the leftist media claimed the conservatives should have the office of Prime Minister as a result like they bogusly claimed down here in 2000 and 2016.

So call for new elections.

Their elections are probably more corrupt than ours.

Likely in about two years although it could be sooner. Trudeau has become tiresome old news for Canadians and that is deadly for politicians there. He’s been PM too long now and there nothing he can do to reverse that perception.

The “Conservative” Party is now in the low 40’s in support, and the People’s Party has about ~3 percent.

People are not happy, and want drastically reduced immigration, lower taxes, less green garbage, less trans garbage, an end to slack policing etc...

But they don’t want any unpleasantness or nastiness. They don’t personally want to sign on to “controversial” or “unpopular” reforms. They don’t want to publically support the type of politicians who might do any of that. They don’t want to risk social or elite disapproval, possible problems at work, and they don’t want to publically support “low status” opinions.

And they also don’t believe any reform will ever happen. They know from past experience that politicians who hint at change on these things just lie and break their promises, or the Courts will block it.

So people don’t believe it will ever change. So they don’t want to expose themselves in support of something that will never happen.

So they just keep voting for the fake “Conservatives”, or they will vote for the Liberals again after Trudeau is replaced. Or they just don’t vote.

This situation is not unique to Canada. It is the same in Britain, the other European countries, and in the United States.

The USA is somewhat unique that Trump does campaign on some of these issues, he did get elected, and he did do some of it, and certainly tried.

But Trump is a unique figure. And has no successor. You just look at the Senate candidates, and the other people that ran against him, and the behaviour of the Republican Senators and Members of Congress, and it is clear that after Trump goes, it will be back to business as usual and nothing will ever happen on these issues.

Poilievre is Swamp.

He is absolutely the type of Regime collaborator “Conservative” who gets elected by pretending to oppose things that conservative voters are against. But never reverses anything or does anything about it.

He’s part of the Conservative party leadership group that expelled MP’s from the party for opposing vaccine mandates.

He’s voted to make counselling under 18’s against LGBT ILLEGAL

He won’t commit to immigration reductions.

He won’t reverse any Trudeau gun control moves.

He’s a nothing. And conservatives endlessly lose because they pretend fakers like Poilievre are genuine conservatives.

I don't think so. They use a lot more paper ballots. Just too many lefties and gullible types in Quebec, Ontario and B.C.
