A music video of an older partial eclipse videoed from my backyard. The clouds act as a scrim for viewing.

This was done when husband wasn't home. He would have had a heart attack seeing me point our camera to the sun.
I'll always remember one of my cameramen watching the video and noting with an ecstatic smile, "Clouds. They're God's scrim."

I'm just blow Erie Pa so will be in the totality zone....but watching on TV as I want to see the entire states tracking.
Totality will be about 4 minutes plus

I have a friend in Austin who wrote how crazy it was there.
“btw...do you know how crazy it is here in Austin this weekend? We are having major issues with the hordes of ppl that have descended to watch the eclipse...schools are shut down for Monday and ppl are not going to work etc..it is madness. Ppl are paying homeowners to camp out in in their ranch land to watch it. As you know we are trying to buy a ranch and last week we went to go and look at one with 5 casitas on the property...and they were renting them out for 2k each per night...for this ...so just nuts.”
