The real question is what does that say about the intelligence of Target? lol
drinking non-alcoholic beverages is like drinking decaffeinated coffee...what’s the point?
Kroger has been doing that for a decade. It’s vendor driven. If it’s stocked by their beverage distributor, it’s SKU code triggers the ID request in the database. Dumb, yes.
If they’re scanning the IDs they’re collecting personal data
What it says is: “it’s tougher to buy an NA drink than it is to vote”
This is kind of like buying a blowup doll. So stupid.
Odd… we just had a non-alcoholic bar abruptly close here that had only been open a few months.
Gossip was that the city had shut them down because their non-alcoholic drinks were just above the .05% alcohol content that the law claims is “non-Alcoholic” and the liquor board shut em down.
For people who can’t or prefer not to drink alcohol, but would like to be able to participate in the social activity of having a drink, I recommend Fre Sparkling Brut or Rose non alcohol “ champagne”.
Like seriously, WTF is it? They weren't cheap, either. Like $35 for a 750 ml bottle.
Not about to try it. I can't imagine it would have the bite of actual whisky and I'm certainly not gonna pay $35 for a bottle of caramel-flavored water.
In a lot of states the law requires non-alcoholic ‘malt beverages’ to be treated like real beer. I’m assuming NA wines may be in the same category. Yes, the self checkout machines I’ve used have paused the transaction till a store employee can verify age (at my age they just punch in something without really looking at my license).
Thats racist! This will affect p.o.c. more.because, you know, the no I.D. needed to vote thing - because p.o.c dont have ID’s.
