Trump's VP Picks Appears to Narrowed Down to TWO
Self | May 8, 2024 | PJ-Comix

With Kristi Noem's dog Cricket bit away her chances of being chosen for VP by President Trump. That appears to have narrowed the field down to two especially since the former governor of the other Dakota (North), Burgum, is revealed to be nothing more than a fully owned tool of Bill Gates as you can easily find out in any quick search.

Therefore it appears the VP field has been narrowed down to JD Vance and Tim Scott. Now tell me, which of the two, according to your own observations, has the fire in the belly to carry on the MAGA Movement after Trump? I think you know who has that capability and it is most definitely the Buckeye Boy.

Yeah, Tim Scott, is a nice guy but he seems to be operating in the belief system of a political world that no longer exists (if it ever really did) of collegiality between Democrats and Republicans. Yeah, he has lately assumed the appearance to be a staunch Trump defender but for him it seems to be an uncomfortable fit. Oh, and would someone who FULLY supporst Trump have run AGAINST him in the primary amidst all the LAWFARE? Something of a deal killer right there.

As to JD Vance, something big changed in him from a few years ago when I (and many others) mistrusted him. However, after MTG endorsed him for Senator during his primary I looked into him and was highly pleased with what I saw.

Vance by far has the fire in the belly to help Trump in the campaign ahead. If you can think of someone better, than post it here but for me right now, I definitely would like to see Vance be chosen as VP and carry on the MAGA banner in the years ahead.

Lee Zeldin is the best possible pick, for VP. Don’t choose someone who is in political office/presently running for political office! Lee can help Trump get support and get votes that he wouldn’t get, otherwise, and it would force the D’s to spend more time and spend more money in New York state than originally planned.

Has DeSantis ruled it out, positively ?

That's a demotion for DeSantis.

I'm not sure about a tool, but Doug Burgum did use family money to buy a software company which he built into the leading accounting software worldwide, Great Plains Software. Just after the turn of the millennium, Bill Gates bought it out and made him a billionaire.

You can look up Great Plains Software and see what happened when it was acquired by Microsoft. So, yes, Burgum would feel friendly toward Bill Gates. Whether or not that would make him a tool would be an entirely different conversation.

Your wife is missing out on one of the better things in life.

Perhaps he intended that he may be perceived as further right than Trump it makes sense.

That’s how it came across here.

Graham’s motivation for Scott to depart SC senate seat, I’d bet, is his perceived star-maker influence as to which buddy of his gets appointed.

DeSantis demotion ?

...not if he wants a head start in ‘28. Otherwise, he’s got lots of competition, as we’re demonstrating here.

I agree with you.

Other than Governor Sanders is the best choice of the 41 that currently have betting odds listed.

It will be:
1) Someone already vetted
2) Someone who has demonstrated competence in interviews, pressers and other public venues.
3) Someone loyal and supportive
4) Someone who might help Trump with a voter block
5) Someone perceived to have the gravitas to be President

I think Trump needs to appeal to women voters and that requires a female (real) VP pick.

Whoever it is, they will be compared to harris. I'm sure the rat slime machine will do to them what they did to Palin.

IMHO, this election, if remotely fair (a big if), will be decided by suburban housewives. Trump has to appeal to them.

The appeal is in the grocery bills every time they go to the supermarket aka INFLATION. Price of eggs has more than DOUBLED since Jan. 2021. I don't think we will see many suburban housewives say, higher food and gas prices? Yup! I'm going to vote Biden for more of that.

Tim Scott would be a disaster. He’s a complete RINO. Remember it was Neocon Nikki who chose him.

I like Ben Carson a lot. As capable as he is loyal. However, he is well into his 70s.

Your wife is missing out on one of the better things in life.

It's a cultural thing about peanut butter. Outside of North America, almost everybody in the world HATES the taste of peanut butter. And since my wife is from South America she also has that aversion. I think peanut butter is a taste that has to be acquired very young.

BTW, her idea of a better spread is Nutella which I tried and found to be horrible.

and Governor Sanders is one of very few that fit that MO.

But it seems far more important to ram a square peg into a round hole as it doesn’t appear as if she has received any consideration at all.

Tim Scott is still a virgin. If he’s never tamed a woman, how is he going to go up against Putin, Xi, or the crown prince of Saudi Arabia?
