Youcanbitemyass is an equal opportunity admonition for friends and foes alike, eh?

I just bought a couple of pairs of cheap shorts at K-Mart this morning because my shorts from last summer are so big on me they wouldn't stay up. *L* I'm still losing - but I don't quite fit into the smaller shorts I have from a few years ago so I had to get something for the meantime.

The site completely stopped for me for awhile, so I did a few things around the house and now it works.

The UK Guardian has crappy witers:
Building after building has been torn apart, their contents of cheap fake furnishings, mattresses, white plastic chairs spewed out into the road.
Big loss, eh? Fake furniture? In the U.S. such buildings would be torn down, too - they don't meet minimum safety codes. I heard a Fox reporter who went to Jenin himself say that in every exposed room he could see posters honoring the suicide bombers. Innocent refugees, my foot.

I am sure that this reporter put a nice spin on the truth .. but at the same time .. I have seen the pictures on TV .. and as I believe Isreal has a right to defend themselves and do what is needed to be done to sure the safety of their country .. they also need to be a little careful on their handling of all this

I know what you mean. Israel left a few buildings standing, and a few people over age 10 alive in Jenin, home of the Viper's Nest.

These poor, abused Palestinians are the folk who cheered and danced in the streets of their "refugee camps" (filthy towns) when the United States was attacked by terrorists - and they cheer every time Israel is attacked by a suicide bomber. They are LYING, MURDERING animals undeserving of sympathy, gentle treatment and good press.

Sweetie, those are gazing balls. You place them in your garden to attract fairies. They have LOTS of them in San Francisco...

Hi, Pup, I saw a program on the Natioal Geographic show the other night and it was about BEARS! The discussion surrounded protection of your home and yours. It seems with the lace of rainfall in some parts, the wild animals are coming down from the habitat areas they usually prefer. And a real threat is bears. There were safety tips among them, keep your yard clear, do not have compost ( you know the kind where you toss in banana peels and egg shells etc) and be very careful how garbage is tossed out. there were demonstrations on how to confront a bear..don't run, make a lot of noise and wave your arms around and yell at the bear to get away. If knocked down, cover your head and play dead...Well, I hope Crusher does not visit again. We don't want anything to happen to you or Mrs. CP.

Congrats on your new figure, Val and your new duds! My progress has not been as successful as yours yet! But I have a new trainer at the gym and my program has been stepped up and tweeked and is much more fun now. My old trainer got fired! I just can't wait until some of my old clothes fit again...
It was really hot here just a couple of days ago..80 and 90 degrees but now there is a cold front here for about a week and into next week too. So you may want to keep some of your warm things around east coasties..cuz what we get you get later sometimes.
Guess what the hubby and I are going to do this summer besided paint the inside of the house? We are going to celebrate our 25th anniversary in England, Scotland, Wales and France. I'd like to get to Ireland and Iceland again but I'll settle for the schedule we have. What makes our trip so great is that we will be visiting friends in the UK and we already know we are going to see the Trooping of the Colors! Puppy, bet you know what this is! We are going to be gone for 3 whole weeks too!!!!:) Sheesh maybe I can use one of the Brits puters to contact everyone but we'll see about that. Can't believe we are really going..Hubby wanted to take a car trip..back the route we drove two years ago to Houston and then on to Pensacola so he could see his ol flight school. I said no to that trip...told him Canada or England would be my choice and inasmuchas we have British Royal Marine (ret) buddies there....and since they have been to our house 3 times...and since they have been giving us Yanks heat about not coming across the pond...England should be the destination of choice and to my suprise..he agreed! :)
