The other day I was asked if I knew the link to a particular thread, and it made me think that there are more than a few "places" FReepers have asked about and can't find anymore.

The Veteran's Day link that was on the original Canteen thread which is not being posted anymore is one of them. I thought it might be a nice thing to have a thread with just links to a few favorite spots. Here, then, is a thread with some interesting links....all in one place. Just click on any graphic, and you're there. :)

I tried to figure out a way to use the "Cross Graphics" too. I just couldn't make them "fit" and make it "come out right".
They are still in all, very, very meaningful to me.
I'd like to share them here, if I may. J
(It would have detracted from the "overall effect", I tried many, many different "formats" and finally settled on the one I posted.)

I just had that problem trying to find the Canteen thread that honored the Merchant Marine. I had to add the month in the search window to get more than 50 posts....
You know, "USO Canteen March" or "USO Canteen 03"
