There you are...well ,we are defitinely rooting for Miss USA tonight no matter what she looks like!
An alum from my old school is 1st runner up which means if USA wins tonight she automatically wins the crown.
Gotta love pagent rules!

(to continue our conversation from a previous thread) I think that Miss USA is different from Miss America in that there is no 'Tournament of Champions' afterwords.
So in this instance only, the first runner up Miss USA gets the title only if we win Miss Universe tonight.
And I'm not up on Miss World yet, only seen that one a couple of times on PAX-TV

Miss USA is the one who looks like Halle Berry. During the Miss USA contest she was not our favorite but we all knew that she would win. I think we were rooting for Miss Tennessee. Oh wait, we wanted Miss Tennessee for Miss America, that's the one that the skinny chick with the PC doll from Oregon won.
