13-year-old Colorado boy wins spelling bee

WASHINGTON, May 30 —  The winner of the 75th annual Scripps Howard Spelling Bee is a 13-year-old seventh-grader from Mountain Ridge Middle School in Colorado Springs, Colo. He correctly spelled “prospicience” in Thursday’s final round.

Yep. Cool ain't it? I posted this story on another thread inhabited by the home school elitists and, oh boy you should have heard them go on. I guess they don't like it when someone calls them on it. Oh well.

yeah... I agree home school is a great idea, but it's not the only idea. And some of the home schoolers are just as goofy as the bad public school teachers, and their kids show it.
