Hi, I just posted on the last thread. Where did everyone go> did we all hop in our cars and head east toward Val's desitnation for one great roundup?

Hi, Val,
You must be rested after a long days drive. That is how we usually go somewhere..drive til we drop. That is why our holiday in the UK was such fun. for the first time I really felt free of obligation to family..so much so that I did not tell my brothers that I went out of the country!:) I told an aunt and uncle however..and our friends and lawyer knew here..It was great!

You're lucky to have missed the thunderstorms, we had them all day. Company was late getting here. LOL

Hi CG. The kids are sound asleep now, and I just woke up from a nap, but will go back to sleep soon. We were so excited about the trip that none of us has slept well for several days and are getting caught up now.

It is about 5:32 where you are at this very moment. So let me be the first to wish you good morning and happy yardwork! But first, have a cup of tea!
Ozzie is off to LA on Sunday for the night. His eldest daughter Kristie and her daughter are coming in on Sunday. Kris is a geologist and has been working on a project in Orange county off and on and she is back to check on something. So The Great One will go see her and Shana and have dinner with them. They go back to Phoenix on the Monday night after Kris is done with her work. I am staying home. nacho has a dental visit at 0800 on Monday morning.
We are still on our holiday high! :)

We really took it easy today and stopped for the night before 7. I could hear lightning static on the radio, and we drove through places with monster mud puddles from a recent downpour, but we managed to miss the rain.

Yes, it's pretty quiet tonight. I've just settled in watching "The Mummy" on AMC while a sip on a glass of Haywood Cabernet Sauvignon.
