a nasty lymric Miss Bru, the orthography is clearly Welsh (pn. "loom' rik") -- but I don't speak Welsh, and the nearest Gaelic phonetics don't help much.
(maybe "laom", a blaze + "rachd/reachd", a vexation or sob, or "raichd", impertinence, or "re/ic", howl or roar...)
What's a "lymric"?
